1. is it true that they require you (student) to right research papers every week?

2. are there presentations..if so how many?..is it for every class?

3. is it possible to work and attend classes at the same time?

4. do you know of any hospitals or facilities that will help students pay for college tuition?

5. if youve done most of the prerequisites how much and how long will the program end up being?

6. how much is the rn-bsn program and how long?

7. if i want to continue to the rn- bsn is west coast my only option?

whatever you decide DON"T go to orange county campus if you can help it. Their staff is very incompetent. They can't figure out what prereq's you get credit for and end up giving you a week's notice for classes. Also, they're financial aid office is pretty weak.

Good luck!

(I decided not to go there after completeing the process, that much money deserves better assistance)

anyone else have any input?...please and thank you...

The LA campus is very good and professional. I am a student there right now. I highly recommend this school. I don't work but alot of my classmates do. You don't write a research paper every week. You do about one presenation per class except speech(more) and they are usually group presentations. They aren't that bad. The teachers at our campus really care about the students. The administrators always are asking our opinions and make changes based on them. They are really good to thier students at the LA campus. Our financial aids are really helpful.

hey guys, i was thinking of going wcu in LA, but how much is the tuition for someone who has all general ed and science prereqs done? also, how long would it be?

the cost and time depends on what transfer credits they would except. I don't know. I would ask them. The faculty is really helpful there.

there is thread here

Hello,

If you have all your pre-reqs done and they're credible, I think WCU still makes you take their chemistry. They're not taking the basic chem that's offered in community colleges. They say its because its not the same as what wcu teaches (even if it does have a lab). Regardless, plan on taking Chem, and with that you're looking at a tuition to be about 35k-38k...from what i'm hearing right now.

Hope this helps.

:wink2:

I had all my prereqs done in community college. they all credited all the units that is why I was in the program right away. What I know is that you have to have good grades to get credit. passing with a C grade is okey if you took it only once. But let say you failed or the first time and then you took it again with a grade of C you have to repeat it with WCU. So I dunno where you got that information. I have done it and I am on 7th term. For those of you who have questions, try to attend the seminar and ask those questions.
