Hello all! This is my first post, and I just had a question. I'm applying to the ADN program at West Central Tech on April 1. I was just curious if anyone knows the average gpa of those that get accepted into the program? Also, I know the average NLN percentiles are in between 80-99, I was wondering if a 96 percentile would be enough to compensate for a less than perfect gpa? The more I think about it, the more nervous I become!:uhoh21: Any help would be appreciated!

Congrats to all of you!!! How exciting!!! :yeah: Be yourself, and talk to them like they are humans...they are!!! Wear a suit and bring a classy, small handbag. Just enough to put your keys in. (No big sloppy Hobo bags....although they are my fave!! :down:) Those are the biggest tips I hear out in the RN Interview world. You've come this far...you will be amazing!!!! Let us all know how it goes!!

Hey you guys! I just registered on this website, but I have been following some of your comments. I too have received an interview letter from WCTC. Mine is scheduled for April 27 from 9:00-12:00. I am so excited but very nervous too!

Yep, I never got a letter but I called and it was lost in the mail. My interview is on May 4th. Good luck everyone.

Got a question for you guys. My interview is on the 4th. I am a male also. With that said, do you guys think I should shave my goatee off for the interview? I did for the fire dept. because I heard that they didnt like any facial hair. I cant decide.

Hello Everyone!

I am brand new to this site and I have applied for the WCTC ADN program and my interview is May 4th. I am SOOOO nervous! Does anyone have any good relaxing tips? All suggestions are appreciated! I'm hoping my scores are good enough to be considered. I got a 92 on the NLN and my GPA is 3.5, very middle of the road, so i'm anxious! GOOD LUCK TO EVERYONE!
