  1. I did, I have Mrs. Kakucka (I know that the spelling isnt right). She helps you out and gives you bonus points for the exams. Also, I went and talked to Mrs. Morris and she said that she would be sending out another set up paperwork to help us through the process of getting ready. I am really excited too and these next 5 months are gonna go by so slow. I wish we could start in the summer.
  2. 3.6 here. Just got accepted for the nursing program in the Fall, so I am sure that it will drop because I will have to keep working also.
  3. I got my acceptance letter today. They kind of took the surprise away because I could see that it said "you have been selected" through the window on the envelope, lol. Im excited and I took your guy's advice on the beard and completely shaved it off before my interview. It was have worked because I got a 24.67 on the interview portion. Thanks for the advice, I owe you guys one because believe it or not, that could have cost me getting it. Thanks again.
  4. Its been a long time coming, but I got my acceptance letter today from WCTC. Im so excited for the Fall. Thought I would make a new thread to see who else on here got in West Central Tech.
  5. I would take the anatomy classes first if I was you. At least at my school they kind of build up to micro. I am in micro now and its not bad at all, but if I had never seen the stuff before, it would be a different story.
  6. I am 26. I started at 22 then went the firefighter/emt-i route, now I am back to where I started.
  7. Yeah, you guys are probably right. Thats what I was thinking, but then my wife kept telling me not to worry about it. But better safe than sorry.
  8. Hey guys, Im a 26 year old married male from GA and I have my interview for the nursing program on Monday. The gave interviews for the top 72 and they are taking 55, so there is a good chance at least. My question is, I have a goatee, should I shave it off for the interview, or leave it? I worked as a firefighter/EMT-I and when I went for the interview I had heard that they liked their applicants to be clean shaven. Some advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
  9. Got a question for you guys. My interview is on the 4th. I am a male also. With that said, do you guys think I should shave my goatee off for the interview? I did for the fire dept. because I heard that they didnt like any facial hair. I cant decide.
  10. Yep, I never got a letter but I called and it was lost in the mail. My interview is on May 4th. Good luck everyone.
  11. Please do. Im anxious to hear how it goes. Good luck.
  12. Well, you guys arent going to believe this. I didnt receive a letter in the mail today so I went to the school to see what was going on. I let me name and number for Mrs. Harris and she called me back about 2 hours later and said that my letter got mailed off last friday and I should have gotten it because I am within walking distance to school. She said to give it until Monday and if I dont get it, to come to her. And right when I thought she was about to get off the phone she say " I not gonna make you wait until then of course, you have an interview on may 4th". Good grief, i couldnt believe it. That is my luck though. I bet my letter was the only one that got lost in the mail. lol. I am so happy though, I cant wait.
  13. She also told me that it was basically a formal job interview so you should be ok.
