  1. I was wondering what the GPA of the average student applying to an accelerated program is. Mine is 3.6. Is this good? Do you think I am in a good position for being accepted? Do you guys thinks being a male helps in getting accepted? I was just wondering as there are so few male nurses out there. Just looking to see what my chances are. By the way, I am applying to NYU's accelerated program, so if there are any guys out there who are doing the same or have gone through their program I would really like to hear from you... Thanks everyone!:nuke:
  2. I am looking forward to applying to the accel. program at NYU. I am curious about their application process. Can anyone tell me about their GPA requirements? How do they make selections? Is it a point system? Are they subjective in their assessments? Will they take into account things like volunteering and such? If anyone can give any advice or a heads up that would be great.
  3. Hi, I am a student just finishing up my first bachelors and I intend to apply to an accelerated nursing program at NYU. I am wondering if I should start volunteering at a hospital to get accustomed to the setting and have something to put on the application for the school of nursing that would help emphasize my interest. Would this look good on the application? Would it help me get into the program?
