Is that for the whole program or just the first semester? We do not have to pay for ours but do have to print it out. Mine is 60 pages for the first semester so far (4 semesters total) and I'm sure there will be more, so I can see if yours is for the whole programs duration why its so large. It should be included in your regular fees though, but every school is different.

WOW! that is quite possibly the biggest syllabus I have ever seen! The largest one I have ever had was 44 pages!

Holy moly! Looks like a Stephen King novel and looks just as scary! What the heck is up with having to pay for it, that's stupid! Anyway, good luck!!

Where do you see the pic of the syllabus? I don't see anything. :(

Ours is $40 and it's about as thick as yours, maybe a little more so. And that's just the one class for the first semester...

Wow- does the syllabus include content notes on the class? We have to print out syllabi out, and they are nowhere near that thick. The powerpoints for the classes, however, do add up over the quarter.

Ours is 70 pages and only cost $4.50...thanks goodness :) Check out your school library, we get 15 bucks a semester to use for printing from our school library and each page is 10cents, so I plan to print 150 pages worth of power points for our library before I use my home printer :), every penny counts!!

At my school, the syllabus and the class notes come together in a package like that, and includes the clinical hand outs for each class, too. You can charge them to financial aid if you get it, but we don't get to charge until one week before school, so I always buy mine (so that I can get organized and look ahead at what we will be learning). I just bought mine the other day, and the pediatrics notes were about that thick. The med surg notes were almost that thick, and then my psych notes were tiny, because he has you print out everything for his clas as you go along. I personally would rather buy all the notes and save the wear and tear on my printer, but that's just me.

Yes, I started freaking out when I bought mine, too. But at least I can go ahead and start on my reading (in the books I already have), and I know what to expect from this semester.

I opened all of them last night and there is a lot more than just the course outline. There are handouts, powerpoints, clinical check sheets, etc. It was just packaged together. Whew! There are 716 pages.:lol2::uhoh3:

Wow!!! That looks intimidating and insane! I don't think our school sends us a syllabus, but instead has it for us for our "week long" orientation on top of all of the other classes we are taking!

LOOOOLEST!

makes u wonder what exactly have i gotten myself into
