ok once again turning to you all for help. i am studying with kaplan and i seem to be having trouble with questions like "who do you see first" i am trying to use the kaplan way look for the most stable but im not getting them correct does anyone else have any tips on how to answer these.or figure out who is most stable and so on until you have the one to see first or call first?????? :banghead:

greedy when u are asked with who do u see first. just look for the most unstable one, do the abc! then eliminate. that will always work. you can do that! go go go!:up:

Ok I took the simulated EXAM Cram exam and was above passing in everything but the safety section. Ugh what is wrong with me?

My suggestion is try take a test with just the safety and infection area and see what score u will get? work hard with safety and infection control. I will not tell here why but I am suggesting u to work hard on it.:D And also, just to help u calm down on the test write the precautions on the white board that aleena wrote here. u know the airborne, droplet, skin and contact and what u should use mask, gloves, gown etc. it helped me a lot! You can do that MH24 GO GO GO!!!!:yeah:

Congrats Jowhanna!!!!!:yeah::clown::luvnltr:*wine:dncgbby::dancgrp::rckn::hpygrp:

Ujones: Also pay attention to when someone has some imballance with Potassium or calcium they usually are very unstable because of heart arythmias and I do pick those before I do ABC's Other than that I use ABC's See which one would die before anyone else and pick that person as the most unstable.

Not ujones..I meant Greedy

Thanks Jhowanna. I appreciate the encouragement. My retest is a week away. Lastnight I just had to get up and walk away from the computer. My husband told me I needed to keep sitting there and practicing just the safety and infection control but I was done. I had already done 120 ATI questions and then the EXAM Cram. I just got up walked away from it and decided I would try again today. I think what was even more frustrating was that was my problem the first time I took the boards. I was near passing in every category except that one. I just need to find Aleena's original post. Got to get my but in gear on this. UGH! Anyway thank you for the support. Im so happy you passed! :D:yeah:I can not wait to be off of this mental roller coaster too!
