Hey Future RN's & LPN's,
I haven't seen a group established for us!!! I wish everyone much success on their exam! For me I will be taking it for a 2nd time!! Please leave prayers, advice and words of encouragement to everyone in this group!:heartbeat
congrats everyone who has passed! it seems like we are keeping the 100% pass rate up! woohoo!! the rest of you studying are next!! believe in yourself! woohoo to all of us who have past and are moving on. i am now onto job hunting...boo. my old job isn't sure they want to hire a new grad....gr. they have 2 experience nurses interviewing next week and then ill know so in the meantime ive been applying for lots of RN positions hoping theyll consider me even though I don't have experience. Although it stinks...the hard/worst part is over!! Soon the rest of you will be in the same situation!
I just log in coz i was busy studying and i felt so happy to see the passing rate this week. Congrats to Susanne and turquios and also to all those who passed the test. I am so happy for you guys. I can't wait to retake mine on tues. I am confident now that I am ready after getting really good grades this week. Anyone else here who will be taking it on Tues 8am?
Thank you all for your nice thoughts for me and the others who tested yesterday. I am excited for those who will soon close their books as well. I almost do not know what to do with myself here. I slept for two hours this afternoon, still recovering from this natural "high". I do not think that anyone was testing today, so if someone is I cross my fingers for that person and for those whose turn is tomorrow!!!

I am a UK nurse and failed 1st time. Trying to figure out best way to tackle this big mountain. I have now obtained, Saunders, and LaCharity, Kaplan books. Do not know if best plod on myself, or look at Hurst, or NCSBN. Can someone tell me re NSCBN course, cost, and time involved etc? Any suggestions. I trained 20yrs ago, so things are not fresh in my mind.

Me too!!! I am feeling a lot more confident after doing some Kaplan QTrainers this week. 3 left, so I plan to do one each day until Monday (my RELAX day!!!) I'm also reviewing my med list, contact precaution list, and a few other things that really haven't clicked yet (like traction.. wth. I can't keep them all straight). UGH. Any other suggestions???
Also, I just wanted to add that although I haven't posted in this thread in a long time-- I check it every day.. especially when I don't get a good score or am feeling discouraged at the end of the day. Everyone's messages are so inspiring and I am so so so excited that our September group has had such success!! I hope that I'm able to join you all very soon! It's really keeping me motivated and encouraged.. so THANKS! :)
Ugh.. sooooo ready to be done with this!
Time to get back to questions!
