I did not see any thread on February 2011 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.

Here is the plan and we have a 1+month.
Here is my plan finishing the Saunders CD (fourth edition)
Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)
Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.

I took my exam on the 23rd of February here in Cali. I just got the result this morning. Saw my name at the site. I waited 7 days.. I tried to register in pearsonvue so i could start reviewing again after the 3rd day of waiting cause i felt i ddnt pass. losing hope after 3 days of waiting i registered but it didn't let me go through at pearsonvue registration ... i prayed prayed and prayed.... Then i saw my name this morning at the BON site. God is really good.. I posted this so i can give hope to other nurses who are still waiting for their results.. Continue Praying... Ask MAMA MARY for help She's Jesus' MOm so she's very close to Jesus. GOd will help you.. Just PRAY... have faith! hardwork and more prayer pays.:)
Hello.. pinay here. I know it's kinda late.. I took the nclex last Feb 15th and the NV BON posted my name on the 28th. I am a nurse now. :yeah::yeah:To God be the Glory.. Thank you for all of the info. guys. I only read 21 chapters of Saunders then I stopped reading. what I did is I just answered a lot of questions or maybe it's not that much. 4000+ questions.. So for those people who hates reading like me, you have a chance to pass the nclex too.

Hi guys! I took my test for the second time last friday March 3 2011 at 2pm.... i stopped at 85 and totally wanted to die because i was hoping to go all the way to 205 atleast to prove myself. This time around i was 50/50 is feelings if i passed or not..but at the same time was very shocked that alot of what was on the test is what i studied for...it was just a matter of remembering if it was this answer or that answer... so anyways, i did the trick yesterday after 24hrs and couldnt believe it.. i got the POP-Up! I did it again right now and still the same pop up. I really hope this trick is legit because it made me the happiest person in the world!!! I had 1 calculation, only a lil med questions, alot of select all that apply, 3 isolations, and plenty of prioritization.
I have Saunders, exam cram questions, college network QRBN questions, took a review course in december.. and i was just overwhelmed with the amount of stuff i had to study.. I am honestly not the type that can sit and read and read because i easily get distracted and find myself taking breaks longer then needed. I eventually had 3 weeks left to really study for my test, i ended up putting aside all my study materials EXCEPT for exam cram 1000 questions. i did all questions and repeated it another time till i got above 80% in each test worth 200.. i can honestly tell you that i had plenty of questions similar to exam cram. While i was taking the test i couldnt believe i was coming across questions that i was sooo familiar with.. I think this is the best book you can use to pass your test. the rationales are amazing too!!
Prayers also put me thru this ... alootttt of prayers.. pray to st anthony and st joseph of cupertino also. They move mountains!

i just took my exam yesterday march 14,2011. im still waiting for my results of the exam. my computer shut off at around 105-110. ive been getting the good pop up that say " contact your bon" but i still feel very anxious and desperate of knowing what my results are. i called cali boards an hour ago and they told me that my papers are still being processed. I just dont understand why it takes so long for them to release the results on their website. I know i should be atleast happy because i got the good pop-Up but i just want more reassurance that the trick actually works.
any commnets from you guys would be highly appreciated..this is so nerve racking..

I know how you feel. I just took my exam on Friday, March 11th and for some reason the BRN isn't posting ANYTHING today. This is highly unusual for it to be this late and still they haven't updated their website. It's torture. You can test on a Sunday?
What did you use to study for your exam if I may ask. I graduated in Dec 2010 but was in a bad car accident so I am just now well enough to begin trying to study for my boards but is so unsure of what really works. I have read many nclex posts on here but most are from 2004, 2005 years lol.

I also graduated in Dec 2010. I bought a Kaplan book and learned some strategies. LaCharity was also very helpful with delegation, prioritization and assignment. I also did lots and lots of questions on the NCSBN site. I paid $50 for 3 weeks and practiced them over and over. Technically, I only studied for about 2 weeks straight, non-stop, from morning until bedtime. I also had a Hurst review book that was helpful with content and also a Saunders book and cd that I also practiced with. I even had an application on my iTouch and practiced NCLEX questions when I was out and about. It all comes down to practicing the questions and understanding the rationales. Hopefully it worked for me because I still don't know if I passed. Hopefully I will find out soon.
hi bella,i tested yesterday..march 14 is a monday.did u try the pvt trick too n tested n in cali as well? i called them a fe hrs ago n told me to wait for 2-4 wks.sigh
