Welcome NCLEX February 2011 Test Takers

Published

I did not see any thread on February 2011 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.

Join the excellent group!

Good luck to everybody testing in February.

Here is the plan and we have a 1+month.

Here is my plan finishing the Saunders CD (fourth edition)

Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)

Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.

"Holy Spirit,

Thou make me see everything

and show me the way to reach my ideal.

You who will give the divine gift

to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me

and who are in all instances of my life with me.

I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything

and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You

no matter how great the material desire may be.

I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen God please help us all.

So come on board all futures RN's and LVN's let's rock this NCLEX together.

I also graduated in Dec 2010. I bought a Kaplan book and learned some strategies. LaCharity was also very helpful with delegation, prioritization and assignment. I also did lots and lots of questions on the NCSBN site. I paid $50 for 3 weeks and practiced them over and over. Technically, I only studied for about 2 weeks straight, non-stop, from morning until bedtime. I also had a Hurst review book that was helpful with content and also a Saunders book and cd that I also practiced with. I even had an application on my iTouch and practiced NCLEX questions when I was out and about. It all comes down to practicing the questions and understanding the rationales. Hopefully it worked for me because I still don't know if I passed. Hopefully I will find out soon.

Good luck to you!

I know how you feel. I just took my exam on Friday, March 11th and for some reason the BRN isn't posting ANYTHING today. This is highly unusual for it to be this late and still they haven't updated their website. It's torture. You can test on a Sunday?

Thats a great strategy. Focus on cardio drugs and chemo drugs too..

i took my test last march 14 and i had tons of cardio drugs and chemo agents. not to mention lost of prioritization and infection control.

goodluck!:nurse::nurse:

Just focus on your studies and let God do the rest! =)

Hi everyone. I am an English RN and I am curently studying to take the NCLEX-RN. As I didn't train in America can anyone suggest good revision books and mock test books I can get to help me on the way to a pass when I take the NCLEX please? I have been a RN for 17 years but the last 10 years have been working in nurse management and you tend to forget some of your clinical skills. All suggestions much appreciated and greetings from England. Good luck to all those taking the test in February

Hi wicca. Just wondered if you'd taken the NCLEX yet, & if so, how did it go? I'm also a UK-trained nurse, also qualified many years ago, & took (& passed) the NCLEX last month. Hardly any UK nurses seem to be going this route anymore, since current UK training doesn't cover all the areas needed for US licensure, & also I gather that immigration has become more difficult. I have a US passport, so fortunately that part wasn't an issue.

Good luck to everyone

I heard NCLEX gonna increase the passing rate, and it scares me to death ryt now. Any ideas about how to schedule study time to prepare for New NCLEX-PN?? pls i need advices!!:-(
