I did not see any thread on February 2011 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.
Join the excellent group!
Good luck to everybody testing in February.
Here is the plan and we have a 1+month.
Here is my plan finishing the Saunders CD (fourth edition)
Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)
Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.
"Holy Spirit,
Thou make me see everything
and show me the way to reach my ideal.
You who will give the divine gift
to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me
and who are in all instances of my life with me.
I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything
and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You
no matter how great the material desire may be.
I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen God please help us all.
So come on board all futures RN's and LVN's let's rock this NCLEX together.
Testing the 25th. Taking the PN test. Failed RN back in august, didn't do anything till about october, been studying everyday, since thanksgiving (i mean, everyday 7 days a week) Minimum 5 hours a day. Started with Reading, going over the areas I was weakest in. My results from the failed RN showed me I was only below 2 subject, Health care and promotion and Physiological Adaptation/Integrity. ( I ran out of time on my RN test @ around 220 questions )
Since december I have done about 3000 questions, read my nclex pn book from kaplan, finished my Q bank (not included in those 3000 questions) With 70%, my lowest being in Health care and promotion at 67%. Both kaplan pn tests with scores of 72 and 73. Now my saunders 4th edition CD test mode questions I'm getting 75% plus. I must say, I really probably could have been ready with this much prep to take my RN again, but the thot of failure was too great, and my student loans are comming and I need a job, so hopefully this works out for me, I can deffinitely say I FEEL prepared for this test, and I am 100% more knowledgable now than I can say I was for the RN test.. Altho a couple of the delegation questions and questions that require me to report assessment changes are tricky, as Im used to being an RN and not reporting them.. But alls well, Friday the 25th I become official, I already made up my mind.

Wow, I admire your perseverance and concentration. Seriously, I don't know if I'm allowed to say this but I think you are even more ready for NCLEX-RN. But whatever floats your boat, goodluck. I know you'll pass. :):)
