Welcome NCLEX February 2011 Test Takers

Published

I did not see any thread on February 2011 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.

Join the excellent group!

Good luck to everybody testing in February.

Here is the plan and we have a 1+month.

Here is my plan finishing the Saunders CD (fourth edition)

Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)

Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.

"Holy Spirit,

Thou make me see everything

and show me the way to reach my ideal.

You who will give the divine gift

to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me

and who are in all instances of my life with me.

I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything

and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You

no matter how great the material desire may be.

I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen God please help us all.

So come on board all futures RN's and LVN's let's rock this NCLEX together.

how was it ms. daisy? congratulations for that... what a relief. goodluck to ur official result :yeah::nurse::D

Well... honestly, there were a lot of questions where I felt like I was purely guessing- meds I'd never heard of, diseases I hadn't focused on when studying... But there were some where I was surprised it was so easy because three of the answers were very wrong, so the right answer was obvious. Usually after a test though I can guess pretty accurately how I did... With that one though, I was so unsure- could have been a pass or a fail. Everyone tells me though if you're making 60-70% on your practice tests you'll be fine. So good luck if you still have to take yours :)

Goodluck with your official result. Please can you share your experience and the things that helped you.

I used the CD that came with the Saunders test prep book, retook all the ATI practices tests they'd given us codes for in school, and just looked up any disease I needed clarification on. I think the both ATI and Saunders really helped because there were a couple questions that were very similar to a question I'd seen in either of them. Good luck with your test!

hi.. i just want to say.. that the pop up trick does work!! I took exam and tried to re-register with pearson vue 5 hours later and it would not let me.. and this morning i received results and i passed!! I was a bit skeptical about this because i didnt want to set up my hopes but it was true and does make sense... i had 75 questions.. and the test was just harder and harder and i left there kind of sobbing ... but yeah.... I passed!! so if you want to relieve some of your anxiety.. check for your pop - it because it does work!

I'm taking it tomorrow as well. Been studying for three weeks every day about 8 hours a day. Let's hope this pays off.

I took my exam on V-day and tried the pvt when I got home and received the good pop up message. I checked my quick results early this morning and I did indeed pass!! Those of you taking the test in the near future, you will most likely walk out of test feeling like a complete idiot because you had to guess at the majority of the answers. Keep faith!! I think what really helped me was strategies with answering priority/delegation questions, which is what the majority of the test consisted of. GOOD LUCK! Really, I think it is pointless to study details. I WAY over studied that stuff. Just know how to narrow down answers and pick priorities. Excited to be a :nurse:!!!!!

OK, the big exam is Tommorow! 2-17-11.I did my drive by which I am glad because I would have got lost going cold turkey, printed my ATT, and have my drivers licence and passport as a back up just in case they want the address to match. I know I am supposed to do something fun tonite so I rented two movies from red box. I went on pearson vue website and checked again for my time and it sunk in when I saw my date cannot be changed because it is less than 24 hours. I have 2 alarms set. I am not going to study just do a few questions from prioritization, delegation, and assignment. then a few hesi hints. I will go over precautions and lab values then call it a nite. I have been praying and meditating. DID I FORGET ANYTHING =)
