Welcome NCLEX February 2011 Test Takers

Published

I did not see any thread on February 2011 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.

Join the excellent group!

Good luck to everybody testing in February.

Here is the plan and we have a 1+month.

Here is my plan finishing the Saunders CD (fourth edition)

Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)

Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.

"Holy Spirit,

Thou make me see everything

and show me the way to reach my ideal.

You who will give the divine gift

to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me

and who are in all instances of my life with me.

I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything

and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You

no matter how great the material desire may be.

I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen God please help us all.

So come on board all futures RN's and LVN's let's rock this NCLEX together.

Hello! I take mine on Wednesday. If you ask me you are rockin! I am serious, those question trainer scores are awesome :yeah:

I have been looking through all different forums looking at scores and yours are GREAT.

RELAX! Did you do the readiness test yet? I got a 63.8 (had to throw in the .8)! And that gives me a 93-94% chance of passing. My qtrainers were not that great.

50-65 but I feel okay after doing research.

You will pass my friend. I am watching the review of the readiness test and it is great. Good luck!

I'm scheduled to take my NCLEX-RN on 2-23-11. I WAS fairly confident because I've taken ATI, Kaplan, and Mosby NCLEX comprehensive predictor tests and gotten around 79% which I'm TOLD is about a 98% guarantee that I'll pass my boards on the first try. However, reading these threads I'm seeing that there are a ton of SATA, which I'm not very good at. Are there any resources out there that are just SATA or alternative question formats so I can practice them?

Saunders has a book of just SATA questions i believe. Try looking for it on amazon u could probably get 2 day shipping or something.

Hi, I took the NCLEX on Feb 7 (and passed!!!!) :yelclap: The most helpful book that you can use if you want questions that are most similar to that on the NCLEX is the Prioritization, delegation, and assignment book by Linda Lacharity. I had some questions that were so similar to a couple I got on the NCLEX. I also reccomend the HURST review book. I did the actual Hurst review and it was priceless. My exam cut off at 75 and I was so happy. Good luck!

Hey, I did the Hurst review and it was priceless!!! I did ok on the practice exams. I averaged between 75-90%. Always more right than wrong is a good thing. Im telling you, if you learn the matieral like Marlene says, you will be fine. I would just go over some infection control stuff like "who can a hep C patient be roomed with?" type of questions. if you haven't yet. Good luck!

I took my exam the 7th and passed as well!! Yay us!! Anyway, I could not agree more! Know Safety, infection control, prioritization and delegation! It is a must! The book by Linda Lacharity is very helpful for that! But I believe the Hurst review is what helped me the most!

hey, goodluck to you too...well,honestly,my readiness test was actually like 55%..i just posted on the other subject forum...it was 45 instead of 55..i just typed it wrong...hehehehe....thanks by the way...my qbank will be almost finish and i'm in like 62% total average and still got 15% left to finish...you know, i just keep on practicing those questions, reading the rationales..but the worst thing to me is the SATA...it's like i got 20-30% right out of 100%....

hi there, i already took my exam last Feb. 9 . I think i failed. I used kaplan on my studying. When i was doing the pvt trick, it doesnt show my school info on it. It just show the country when i finished my nursing and the program code but the name of my school is not there. So what i did is I click the country with the program code then click next, then after that it shows a little bit of information then I click again the NEXT button then it shows cc page i think. I dont know if i do the pvt right..

i will be taking the exam on the 15th. to everyone who is going to take the exam this February we can all turn this monster nclex down.

to god be the glory in the name of jesus christ.

Thanks! My scores are ranging between 78-82% and I can't seem to get any higher! I have one more Q review to take today and then i'm done with them. I've also been averaging low 80s on Kaplan, NCLEX 4000 and Saunders so I hope that's good enough to pass! After my last Q review today I'm gonna look over infection control again (seems to be my weakness!) and some lab values/interventions for diseases I just can't remember for the life of me and then relax tomorrow and test Tuesday. The Hurst review is great!!

I'm not sure exactly how the PVT works but I think you just need to go in as if you are registering to take the test again and go through that process, which I forget b/c I registered a couple months ago. So try to register for another test and see what happens.
