I did not see any thread on February 2011 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.
Join the excellent group!
Good luck to everybody testing in February.
Here is the plan and we have a 1+month.
Here is my plan finishing the Saunders CD (fourth edition)
Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)
Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.
"Holy Spirit,
Thou make me see everything
and show me the way to reach my ideal.
You who will give the divine gift
to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me
and who are in all instances of my life with me.
I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything
and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You
no matter how great the material desire may be.
I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen God please help us all.
So come on board all futures RN's and LVN's let's rock this NCLEX together.
Good luck to all of us those who will still take the exam, and congratulations to those who did make it...
"Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." -Philippians 4:6-7
Congrats to all that have passed so far! I have 4 days until my test... im trying to stay calm but im really nervous. Im hearing all the horror stories of ppl getting like 33 SATA... thats horrible!! I suck at those the most...but im hoping what they say is true about the actual NCLEX being a little easier than kaplan.Yesterday i completed my last QTrainer with a 64 and after analyzing all my scores and corresponding with my kaplan instructor i know that my weak areas are safety and infection control and healthpromotion and maint - ie: womens health. So today im doing questions focused on these two topics and listening to the online content to help me fill in the blanks.
So freakin worried....4 days..
SO how long till you can try the PVT? and what does that entail..just checking if you can reschedule a test?
I did it as soon as I got home from the test which was about 30-45 min after I finished and it worked for me! Try not to stress it too much, can't say not to stress at all bc that's unrealistic. Good luck!

Hey! I graduated in December. I took my test on February 7 and found out I passed it. I really had only 3 weeks to study for it. I used the Saunders book as a reference for my trouble areas. I used my hesi book for content. I also used a hurst review book a coworker let me borrow. I even checked out a Kaplan strategies book from the library. I did at least 100 questions a day. I was under a lot of pressure to pass since I already had a job lined up. When I took the test, I could not actually tell when the questions were getting harder, but I wasn't positive on a lot of the answers. I had to pray all the way until the end. When the computer cut off at 75, I thought that I had failed it for sure and my heart was beating outside of my chest. 2 days and several flashbacks and nightmares later, I found out I had passed!!!!
Know safety, infection control, and prioritization
I will be taking my NCLEX on March 3rd and I am soooooo nervous!! I just found out a girl from my nursing class just took the exam a failed so that made me ever more scared...
I was curious if anyone had any advice on how to study/prepare for pharmacology?? My Pharm. class in school was a total joke and I am really worried about questions about meds. I've been trying to find a good tool to help me remember the various classes of meds & what they do, but haven't been very successful. If anyone has any advice I would really really appreciate it!!!

Hi everyone! I'm taking the NCLEX exam on the 22nd of February. I was supposed to take it on the 1st but due to the snow storm, it got cancelled. I wasn't nervous then. I am now. :redbeathe I was originally planning to study 400 questions a day since I have only a few days left but now I just realized that it is both physically and mentally impossible.
After just answering 50 questions, I find myself looking for distractions (surfing the net, etc.) I end up just finishing 100 questions a day! Now, I'm planning to just take about 200 questions a day. Wish me luck! I will pray that all of us will succeed. I'm sure God will be with us on our exam days as He has always been with us everyday. Congratulations to all those who have already passed!
