I did not see any thread on February 2011 support group, so I decided to form a forum for us to share our view, plan and how to pass for the test. As we all prayer for each other to continue with this journey I wish everyone who is taking NCLEX-RN and NCLEX-LVN/LPN.
Join the excellent group!
Good luck to everybody testing in February.
Here is the plan and we have a 1+month.
Here is my plan finishing the Saunders CD (fourth edition)
Do the Exam cram CD (1000 questions)
Do the NCLEX 3500 and with all the prayers to pass this NCLEX.
"Holy Spirit,
Thou make me see everything
and show me the way to reach my ideal.
You who will give the divine gift
to forgive and forget the wrong that is done to me
and who are in all instances of my life with me.
I, in this short dialogue, want to thank You for everything
and confirm once more that I never want to be separated from You
no matter how great the material desire may be.
I want to be with You and my loved ones in Your perpetual glory, Amen God please help us all.
So come on board all futures RN's and LVN's let's rock this NCLEX together.
Thank you! The exam was loooooong! I about pooped in my pants once I answered question 75 and saw it go on to question 76. I kept thinking "this has gotta end soon....cmon now!", but the exam kept going and going until it went all the way to question 265. I was soooo tired by the time it got to question 150, that I still don't know how the heck I made it through another 115 of them, but somehow I kept myself together. There were tons of priority questions and "which statement does the patient understand the teaching" questions, as well as a couple side effect questions on medications I've never heard of. Sadistic little exam, it is! When I got home, though, I did the pop-up trick and got the "good" pop-up! :w00t: I just thank my lucky stars that I don't have to take this test again. I'm so tired I can barely keep my eyes open, and it's only 11PM *headdesk*Best wishes and prayers to you too, jabwemet!
wheew... good luck to your official results..
I finally have a date for feb 17.:heartbeat:heartbeat:heartbeat I had to change it around a few times due to starting a new job. I feel good because all my classmates have passed. I have done ncsbn, saunders also, but I have been doing it all through nursing school so I haven't been doing it as much now. I just keep telling myself..I WILL BE SUCCESSFULL on the NCLEX. Positive vibes everyone and much success.

Congrats to YOU Noe it is my turn to get that good pop up I am so ready Please prayer for me too. I pass too. Thanks alot
What were your test scores like on Kaplan. can you tell me if I will pass NCLEX? Just kidding, can you tell me if I am on a good path?Qbank done 58%
qtrainer 1: 50
2: 65
3: 57
4: 60
First diagnostic 61%
and I did the readiness test before I finished the question trainers b/c I am impatient! I got a 63%
Taking the exam one week from today! Yikes I could be a nurse next week at this time.
Happy For you!
I know for sure I got a 71% on my readiness but by then I had taken through Question trainer 6. And I had finished the class. I didn't do amazingly on the first Question trainers, just below passing and then on 5, 6 and 7 I got at or just above passing. I also did ALL the Q bank and I had a 62-65% total average. Of course that not to say I didn't have a few 50's. The NCLEX in my opinion was a lot like kaplan. And today the Florida Department of Health posted that I passed!!! Officially a Nurse! :w00t:
You can do it! Just study and do as many questions as possible! I didn't do any content bc I reviewed every question whether right or wrong and wrote notes on that!
Hope this helps!
Took it yesterday. Out of 75 questions, I got 33 SATA! 0 Math, 1 audio and 1chart. I feel like I didn't get the opportunity to prove myself with the exam I got. I freaked out. I couldn't even concentrate, I kept having to read the same question over and over to get it to click in my brain because I was SOOOO anxious! My studying, Kaplan, none of it prepared me for my NCLEX! Cried in my car for an hour before I was even able to drive.

Sorry to hear it was so tough!!! 33 SATA? that's insane!!!! Did you do the pop-up yet?
Hi everyone!!!
I'm taking my test for the 2nd time on the 16th and I'm terrified!!! I failed the first time with 265 questions! The way I look at it is I was going through a rough time when I last took it, and really didn't study but 2 days before the test! They say when you get 265 questions you literally "almost passed"! So I'm praying that since Ive taken a week and a half off work, and have been doing questions and review that hopefully this will be my time! It's so stressful I just want to take the test tomorrow!
Hey y'all! I just took the NCLEX-RN last Feb.8 my computer stopped at 86, after the exam I had a mixed emotion of happiness and apprehension. Happy since the exam was finally over but at the same time I didn't know if the computer stopping at 86 was a good sign or a bad one. I just found out today on the Board of Nursing website that I passed.:lol2:
I just feel ecstatic that all of the hard work paid off. I used Hogan's reviews and rationales book and answered KAPLAN questions [which was way harder than the actual exam questions] so I guess it's a good review material. After my exam I tried the PVT and got the pop-up. I was a bit skeptical about it then I saw the official result. I can say that its really accurate.
:yeah:For those who are going to take the test Good luck to everyone. Don't stop studying and don't forget to pray.

Congrats to all that have passed so far! I have 4 days until my test... im trying to stay calm but im really nervous. Im hearing all the horror stories of ppl getting like 33 SATA... thats horrible!! I suck at those the most...but im hoping what they say is true about the actual NCLEX being a little easier than kaplan.
Yesterday i completed my last QTrainer with a 64 and after analyzing all my scores and corresponding with my kaplan instructor i know that my weak areas are safety and infection control and healthpromotion and maint - ie: womens health. So today im doing questions focused on these two topics and listening to the online content to help me fill in the blanks.
So freakin worried....4 days..
SO how long till you can try the PVT? and what does that entail..just checking if you can reschedule a test?
