Hi! Who is applying to Weatherford for the spring 2011 semester?
I took the TEAS yesterday and didn't do as well as I was hoping. I am going to retake it and hopefully then I will have 18 or 19 points. It seems that the point system has changed and is only 23 possible points now, rather than 26.
I really don't know if 18 or 19 will be enough, but I haven't completed Micro so that is going to hurt me. I figure it is worth a try though! You can't win if you don't play! lol.
So who else is applying? How many points does everyone have?
A friend that took the version V specifically asked Karen, since the V version's grades were dropping 10% nationally (and at WC). Didn't seem fair that some took a test significantly more difficult than others to get into the same program during the same semester. Karen told my friend the more difficult test would taken in consideration if there was a tie between students.
That was what I was told. I was not there when the discussion occurred, so I am not an eye witness to the discussion.
I am getting soooooo nervous!! I hope we get letters this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am wondering when we will get letters. I am thinking maybe next week sometime. I am hoping anyway. If they send them out on the 1st, then that would be this Friday!!! We could get them on Monday or Tuesday!!!! But, they may not send them out til the 8th. Either way, I'm guessing it is typical for them to be mailed out on a Friday? Both the 1st and the 8th are on Friday. I really just hope it's this Friday rather than next. Has anyone talked to WC about when letters would be mailed out?
I have noticed that they tend to mail them out on Fridays too. What's up with that? Today looks like a good day to mail them to me. :)
I have been thinking of going by the office today, but I have been sick and don't know if I will make it. I have class, but it's late. I don't want to be out in the wet weather more than I have to till I get over this. Home in bed looks really good to me.

For some reason I just got really anxious. I hope she replies soon!! Keep us posted!
She said, "letters will go out no later than April 8."
That's it? She didn't give you any information about how the points were looking? Wow... that's kinda discouraging. I guess I'll stop stalking my mailman and allnurses, as it sounds like they're in no hurry to get the letters out.
That was the response that I got. Well, we know they haven't been mailed out yet. My guess is prob not til next week sometime. I guess I'm just going to think that they will be mailed out next Friday. If they come sooner, it would be awesome. I'll just expect it to come on the 8th. And even if someone calls and they tell us the points, I will still be just as anxious. But, if anyone hears anything please post!!!! April8th is right around the corner!!
Then let's start a countdown, using April 11th as the expected arrival date of the letters (if they're really getting placed in the mail on April 8th, that will give a few days for delivery). At least this way we still have something to look forward to, and if they come early we'll all be pleasantly surprised. So:
