Well, I am not sure if someone has started this topic already but I wanted to find others who will be applying for Weatherford's ADN program this application period. I am scheduling my TEAS for next week. I am excited to apply and see how things go. Would love to hear from others who are applying this round as well. Thanks and Happy New Year!!!!

PS I have been taking my pre reqs at TCC.

oh wow! thank you so much for letting me know your score and the scores of what got in! that really does give me a lot more hope! im a lot calmer now! i just know i can raise most of my grades to at least a B so i really hope that is enough :) im so excited to take the Teas again! just gotta get through my workbooks so im confident in the material :) and... getting to know 4 weeks after the deadline is great! waiting i think is the hardest part!!! haha :)

Good Luck !!!!!!!

You can do it !!!!!!!!!!!

thank you very much!!!!

Thank you for the confidence building!!!!!!

I feel a little better after brushing up on algebra and math. Need to get more studying on some of the science. The English and Language Usage is whats killing me! I was always a good writer and in honors English courses. I am baffled at how much I forgot! I have all day tomorrow and Wednesday so I better crank it out.

Thanks for all your help and letting me vent!

any time! im glad we have this forum going so we cant help each other out :)

Hi everyone, I will be applying for Fall 2012 also. I was on the alternate list for spring, but today all spots were officially registered so I will die on the alternate list;) Looking forward to meeting some new faces and going through the process again.

yay!!! i hope you get in this time!!! what were your points last time? and have you done anything to up your score?

I had 16 pts this last time. Some of the 16s made it on the alternate list and some did not, the problem is they only take 20 people so that cut down chances. Thankfully for fall they take 40. I plan on retaking the TEAS test to gain a few more points. I maxed out points on GPA and the 5 points for extra classes taken, so the thing that kept me back was the points on the TEAS test. I will study over the next month and retake, but even with the points I have now, I think my chances are good for fall since I fell in the top 31 when they pulled for spring. It does stink to go through the whole process as an alternate and in the end not get into the program. You still have to go to orientation, follow some of the checklists, etc.

I am also applying for the ADN program for the Fall. I take my TEAS on the 25th. Right now I'm standing at 11 points. The TEAS will make me or break me!!

Hi ldslees, we are in the same boat, I have 11 points before retaking the TEAS. It is important to know that they rank all the applicants with the same amount of points by the TEAS score, that is another thing that had me behind, I maxed out GPA and all with my 11 points but then those on the alternate list with 16 pts were ranked by the TEAS score and since that wasn't my strong point I was to the lower end of the alternates with 16pts.

Good luck on your test, I am going to take mine the first week in Feb so that I can still have another option to take it again if I need to.

Hi everyone. I am going into my second semester at WC. I saw someone asking about clinical sites. They sometimes switch up what they use. But, for our first semester(fall) they used: Weatherford regional, Lake Granbury med center, Palo pinto general(in mineral wells) and Kindred in fort worth. They tried to put you closer to your house, though it won't always work out that way!! For our second semester, we are going to: Wford, Palo pinto, Kindred and life care in ft worth. We also have an OB clinical, and those sites are Weatherford and Baylor all saints. You will go to Wichita falls, but that is in the summer II for like 3-4 days for psych. Let me know if you guys have any questions.
