Well, I am not sure if someone has started this topic already but I wanted to find others who will be applying for Weatherford's ADN program this application period. I am scheduling my TEAS for next week. I am excited to apply and see how things go. Would love to hear from others who are applying this round as well. Thanks and Happy New Year!!!!

PS I have been taking my pre reqs at TCC.

I only had one or two AP questions and they are very basic. Make sure you know the basics about each system. Digestive, know bolus and where certain things like fat or carbs begin breaking down.

Did online practice today. Reading improved , so did Language usage. But Science.....down! Math too. Although I have to say I made some silly mistakes in all 4. I am taking a break, then back to studying. God help me.

Does TEAS V have earth science questions...or was that earlier versions?

Hi Idslees,

I didn't have any earth science questions that I can recall. I had AP, Life science, Chem. and scientific reasoning questions. I have only taken this latest version of the test so thers may know better than I.

Back to studying!

When are you taking your test? Mine is scheduled for this Thurs. Do you plan to take the online practice versions? I'm sitting here trying to decide if it will help, or scare me further!

I did not have any earth science questions, to my understanding that was on Teas 4. I took the online practice test and they did help me, after you answer each question, it tells you right or wrong and if wrong explains why. Also, if you have never taken the TEAS 5 test it also gives you an idea of time and format for the test. I found that I did better on the actual test than I did on the practice test.

Hi Michelle,

If you can afford the practice tests, do them! I found that they have helped with the time factor as well as showing me my weaknesses and strengths . For me practice, practice, practice seems to be working. My scores have improved and I hope to keep it up for the actual test. I will take it this coming Wed.

If we score below a 70 on the science section, can we still get points for our other sections...or does it mean that we have to test all over again??

So stressed...I took the online practice exam and got 66.7 on the science.

You will still get points for the other sections. you do not have to retake unless you want. WC does not require a certain score in science or math like some schools. They only give points based on 70 or above on each of the 4 sections. I think you will actually do better on the real test, than the practice test. Good Luck
