Well, I am not sure if someone has started this topic already but I wanted to find others who will be applying for Weatherford's ADN program this application period. I am scheduling my TEAS for next week. I am excited to apply and see how things go. Would love to hear from others who are applying this round as well. Thanks and Happy New Year!!!!
PS I have been taking my pre reqs at TCC.
Hi guys!
Took the TEAS again today and really pleased with the outcome. I had 83% to 89% on all four sections. Really moved up from last week! Turned in all my application papers and it felt good. I only have 17 points but I want to give it a try. Now the wait...........
Good luck to everyone!
Thanks to you guys for being so supportive. It really helps to have other people who understand the hoops you have to jump through.
Idslees, you are going to be fine. You have done everything to prepare. Get plenty of rest and find some quiet time before you test to center yourself. Take a break in between sections if you can and breathe. It's great you did the practice tests;the actual test is the exact same format.I did do both online tests and cracked open my AP and Chem books this last week. For me, practice seemed to be the way to go.
Good luck and let me know how it goes!
This is going to sound horrible...but my ego is crushed! I made it through the reading, then the math...feeling really good, wasn't going to stress about the science...finished it, and headed into the enlgish. When I had finished I was feeling excited and hopeful as I waited for my score. When the 72.2 popped up, I just sat there with my mouth open. It gave the areas to study, but not knowing exactly what I missed...how do I study? I made at 86.8 in my math, that was the highest. At this point I totally feel like I am doomed! Sorry to be such a negative Nellie...just clueless at this point.

The practice test was a big help. It gave me more of a sense of what to expect. The fear of the unknown was really getting the best of me! The first time that I took it, I was REALLY nervous, and rushed. The second time that I took it, I knew what the time was like, and calmed down and read the questions and answers more carefully. I made an 86.4 overall...the science is still eating my lunch. Way over my head...and beyond the study guide.
