  1. i was not an alternate for the RN program. they said there wasnt even a possibility since my teas math score was too low. i was accepted into the LVN program so i was able to keep up with the requirements and such. then the friday before school started they called and said i was next on the list for the RN program and asked if i wanted in!!! it was awesome!!!! definitely wasnt expected since i wasnt an alternate but anything can happen!
  2. this definitely gives me hope! im hoping to work in a pediatric hospital but im in an adn program and most of the pediatric hospitals prefer bsn so i might have to wait till i finish that route!
  3. I'm still a student and my dream job is to work in the NICU. It's hard to get into the NICU around here. I know any job is better than no job and so I will try to get any experience I can while trying to get my dream job! so, I wonder what experience you all had before getting the job in NICU? and did it help you land the job? ? thank you!

  8. i so wish i didnt have to work, but i got bills to pay. i only work part time but its six days a week so it takes a toll. I just hope i can fine tune my study sessions to get all that i need read in time. Thank you for these tips! what is the hardest classes so far? and what makes them hard?

I made all A's except in math, which was a c, and i didnt get in the adn program... im not trying to discourage you at all! you should definitely try! but always keep your options open! i tried for the adn and lvn program, and im going with the lvn program and will do the lvn to rn once im done!
  13. i live about 30 or so minutes away from weatherford! and... yes i am super excited! have you started on your paper work? i've gotten a little out of the way!
