Hi everyone. Just wanted to start a post for the 2015 Associates degree of Nursing Fall program at Weatherford College and see who else will be applying!
I have 31 points before my TEAS. I probably wont be taking it for a couple more months. I've finished all of my pre and co requisites and have my 15 hours of BSN credits so I'm super excited to finally be able to apply :)
I wonder what the point cut off will be this semester? I'm hoping to get at least 6 points off my TEAS but 8 would be great! Comment if you're applying this upcoming semester! Cant wait!
I had read about the blue cards! And the director mentioned something about sending the eligible applicants off to the the board of nursing... is that what that's for? Does everyone recieve them or just the accepted?
its your background check/clearance from the board of nursing....PUT IT IN A SAFE PLACE WHEN YOU GET IT....we had to turn ours in at orientation....ours didn't arrive until a bit after our letters arrived.....but the application period before they arrived on the day of or the day before letters were received
How exciting! I hope I get my letter first! Thank you for taking the time to share with us! I know you must be so busy with nursing school! I
really don't know how I will possibly be able to make it the next 6 weeks! That's exactly the rest of this semester! I'm trying to stay focused on my classes but it is becoming increasingly difficult! What classes are you all taking this semester? I'm taking History 2, American literature, federal government, and speech! All online except for the literature class :)
For anyone that applied to the LVN-RN transition program, the acceptance letters went out yesterday! :)
I applied to the transition program. I am a nervous wreck! I've been working towards for RN for a while now. My points aren't the highest, so I may just have to keep trying! Good luck to you!

Alright yall, I just left her office. Her exact words "30 and up look good. But still have about 100 applications to look at" she confirmed that everyone lost at least 3 or 4 points considering the new point system but she still has quite a few applications to go over.
To answer my own question: they don't like to allow wcwc accepted students to transfer over to weatherford, or to be an alternate.
So overall a good visit :) she told me that I could come see her in a few weeks and ask her if I want wcwc to be taken off of my application, which I probably will.
