Hi everyone. Just wanted to start a post for the 2015 Associates degree of Nursing Fall program at Weatherford College and see who else will be applying!
I have 31 points before my TEAS. I probably wont be taking it for a couple more months. I've finished all of my pre and co requisites and have my 15 hours of BSN credits so I'm super excited to finally be able to apply :)
I wonder what the point cut off will be this semester? I'm hoping to get at least 6 points off my TEAS but 8 would be great! Comment if you're applying this upcoming semester! Cant wait!
I will definatly ask my sister (who took chem 1 and 2 last summer) how it worked for her. You might have to try working nights! Summer classes are tough. The only one ive ever taken is English 2 and that was online so it was very easy.
I know I'm almost contemplating just really focusing on TEAS prep and ace that and just apply for the heck of it to see if I get accepted and if not I'll continue courses through fall and reapply I just really wanted to take a&p2 right after a&p1 that way it would be fresh in my memory but I've heard a few times now that it's going to be extremely difficult

Well I took AP1 in the spring semester and than AP2 in the Fall semester and personally I have no issues with forgetting anything. I have had several people tell me that they've attempted AP in the summer and just ended up taking it in the fall because they failed it. Not to say that that's what would happen to you, but its certainly something to consider before taking on such a challenge, especially if you are working a job on top of school! But they offer the summer class for a reason, so if you think you can do it then more power to you! You can go in and talk to an advisor and they would be able to give you better information on how the summer classes work, especially with science classes that require labs.
It actually kind of helped me to have a little breather (summer vacation) between AP1 and AP2! They're tough classes! And I ended up doing better in AP2 than I did in AP1 and I really think its because of summer break. I usually get pretty burned out by the end of the spring semester, but that's just me :)

We'll see that's what I'm hearing too so maybe I should just take the break then jump back in full swing fall semester by that point I will also have more programs I can apply to not just WC
Oh huh I didn't know that! I might go talk to her tomorrow just in case. I'm very anxious to get accepted into the weatherford campus.
Let us know. I was curious about this as well. I wondered if it was possible to be accepted at your second choice and also be an alternate at your first? Oh and while you are there feel her out on points and dates :)
