I love my Dansko's.
Started wearing them in 2005 and even though not working right now (and I flew last and had to wear steel toes, so no Dansko's) I went to work in them, and worse during station time. I got in a hurry one time and actually work a pair on a flight - realized it when we were sitting in an aiport lounge while refueling - my pilot pointed out - "Love your new boots!"
I actually rarely wear anything else. Though I am not very stylish a times. Not that - that matters!
My hubby hated them till his feet hurt - 2 pairs and 4 moths later and he gets it. Actually, he thought they looked "less than manly (work censored due to being offensive)" - actually, I think it doesn't matter what they look like if your feet hurt so bad you are sent to bed with a heating pad. Hobbled is not a good look for anyone.
Try them. They may not work for everyone - but, you may just love them as much as I do!

I used to swear that I couldn't be a nurse without my Birkenstocks. Then one of my arches fell and I could no longer wear them.
Now I live in Dansko's, even outside of work, and I swear I couldn't be a nurse without them.
Moral of the story is: everyone's different and you just have to find your "perfect" brand or shoe. But do take care of your feet. If you're wearing sneakers and are working full-time in them, you probably need to replace them at least every 6 months.
I go between Danskos and Crocs.Huge difference but they both work for me.
My only problem is that sometimes I get a pair of danskos that squeak when I walk.
I had a pair of red patent leather Danskos that I had to stop wearing because they squeaked. Not a small squeak, either. REALLY loud. It made me sad because they're my favorite.
If you don't like the way the clogs feel like they are "slipping" which is how they are supposed to feel, try the vegan Dansko sneakers. They have the same style footbed but have laces to make them tighter. If super comfortable running shoes and Dansko clogs could mate, this is what you would get.
I have worn Danskos for everything since 1999 except for fancy dress shoes.

hey everyone:
just curious how many of you wear those "nursing clog" shoes at work.
I wear sneakers and have tried clogs on a few times, but I don't know how anyone could wear them all day!
