So I can push it when "thanks" just isn't the right emotion for the post.
On another note, I can't stop wanting to go out to dinner after my shifts for the week are do9ne. It's become quite a normal habit for DH and I. I think because I keep feeling like making it through a week of work is quite the feat, and I need to celebrate. >.

I agree that surviving a week at work is a feat worthy of celebration. Ditto on the sorry button too.

I celebrate with some wine, a bath, and fresh sheets on the bed.
I'm sorry would be nice, but I've found more call for other buttons, especially in the rant threads.

I also celebrate with wine, but I add a good book.
I'd also vote for a "No Thanks" or "Disagree" button, for the times when you don't agree with someone's post but don't want to reply and thus get dragged into the fray.

After pulling six 12 hour night shifts in a row I do well to crawl in the door :) After a few hours sleep I feel that I deserve a good meal cooked by someone else as well.

Careful Canoe, the "bad words uttered in disguise police" are gonna get ya. Got me already once. However I agree, I do believe when well placed they do hit the spot rather nicely.

I would like an "I'm sorry" button for work, since so many of the families' comments are complaints, usually about something that happened before I came on shift or that I can't do anything about. I could flash it every few minutes and save a lot of talking. Or would that seem insincere? (I guess I'm tired of it; "I'm sorry" for the cynicism tonight.)
