OK, we got in, but now what? I am a detail orientated person and I want info! When can I start picking up things I need? What are those items?
I have really lost it! I went from thinking about getting in to wondering what to do/what to read/what to buy before class starts.
And how big of a backpack do we REALLY need?
Anybody out there from CLC have any advice? Help me before my family moves out of the house permanently (wait...maybe that would be a good thing:devil:)!
Hey guys guess what???? I just got my letter today!! They told me last week they were full and I was finally accepting that it wasn't going to happen...needed to focus on A&P anyway...then it came in the mail about 7 mins. ago!!!!
WHOO HOO!!! I just responded to your PM...I am SOOOOO excited for you!!!! Get your acceptance letter in and sign up...last I looked, there were still a lot of spots open, but they need your acceptance letter to enter you ID number in before you can sign up.

CLC is College of Lake County. It is located in Grayslake Illinois and they have an ADN program there. Grayslake is in Northern Illinois. Hope that helps!
Thanks guys!! Yes diedra..I did have to sit down...when I was walking back from the mailbox I was talking to myself..." CLC..hmmm...I know, I know, ...please pay your health Center bill in full..."....I didn't even let myself think it could be anything other than a bill...I actually read all the other mail and even looked through the sale papers that came...lol...Then i opened it and SCREAMED!!! The dog jumped up off the floor and all 6 cats ran in different directions....My youngest son got home around 2:40 and when I gave him the letter to read he was even more excited then i was!!! He gave me a huge hug and a high 5!!!
Now how can I focus on studying for our test on Friday?? lol
Ummm...I know...I am so burned out from studying right now!!! I decided to color code my new planner for 2008! I have already been told I am a nerd - I know this already!! But...I thought, pink for clinicals, yellow for CLC, blue for personal (if I get any), green for work and purple for PTO stuff!
I'm ready for something new also....Had to bite my lip in class on Monday when people were correcting "Bob's" spelling errors...I just wanted to scream.."That's 3 points buddy!" He always catches my spelling errors and I considered myself a good speller until this class! lol:idea:

:balloons:YAAAAYYYY!!!!! Good for you! I am SO happy for you - such exciting news! I just checked today and it looks like Section 1 (the one me, Diedra, Vicki and my friend Heather are in) is full, but there are still spots open in Section 2 which has the same teacher. There were also a couple left in one of the evening classes too.
Hello all....just after I got done snow blowing and shoveling the driveway (we got about 10 inches of the white stuff by me), I found out I won my bid on eBay for the Brunner & Suddarth's book. I paid $73 for it new - CLC bookstore sells them for $109.95. It came with all the extras, too. Hope everyone made it to school safely today.
