WCCCD Nursing student fall 2014

Hi I'm starting this thread for all those who were accepted to the nursing program at WCCCD fall 2014, or anyone who is currently in the program. We can post any questions or comments leading up to or during the program to help each other out. Good luck evryone!!

Read the first 6 chapters in each book for the first 7 weeks!!! It is soooo much reading but we can all get it done!!

I got all my books on amazon! I saved so much money. Especially since the price they told us at orientation was different than the bookstore!

Yea I started my reading but I'm planning on re-reading the material just to fully understand the material. Has anybody started to look at the videos

Which book? The foundations one?

From what I understood it is the first 6 chapters of foundations and assessment. Is that what everyone else thought?

Yea I'm reading the same books. And I was gonna read them both twice. Was anybody doing the chapters in the study guide or at the end of the chapter?

Does anyone know if we are supposed to have the med math packet completed before the workshop or are we reviewing it at the workshop as a group

I went to the workshop last week and they don't check to see if it's completed but it is easier to have whatever you can done so if you have any questions or don't know how to do something you can ask. They go through the packet and give you a quiz at the end. It is not graded and we worked on the quiz in groups of two and each group got assigned one to two questions.
