Good luck to everyone that got accepted! My advice would be to get your books as soon as possible and just start reading. Trust me I got the same advice and I didn't listen but if I could start over that is what I would do differently. The program is very intense and you will have a quiz in your second week in both classes covering about 15 total chapters. Read Read Read and Read some more. Good luck to everyone!!

No clinicals don't start until the second 7.5 weeks, you have to pass lab and all the check offs in order to do clinicals. You'll have Foundations and Assessment the first 7.5 then Med Surg and Pharm the second 7.5 along with clinicals. It's very very fast paced and intense so be ready to for nursing school to be your life. Good luck everyone

Clinicals sites are chosen on a first come first serve basis at orientation, so get there early because you go in the order in which you sign in. We go to clinicals 2 days a week 6 hours a shift

No, classes are not held in the summer. You will have 2 7.5 week periods a semester but no summer classes. Trust me it is a lot and you will need a break come summer. I always go to school in the summer until nursing school started and I am looking forward to a break

I had a 4.0 when I applied, but you minght be ok with a 3.5. they base your acceptance on a 100 pt system. You can get extra points by having a job in the healthcare field or by taking all of your pre reqs at WCCCD. It's competitive and every point counts do as much as you can to earn extra points
