Don't try to pass those science classes and study for the hesi exam wait till after the fall semester I tried that and I have to retake the hesi exam didn't pass the math portion

Eng 120-A

DT 30- B

Psy 101-A

Soc 101-A

And taking patho for BSN degree later

Took all classes at wcccd

I a CNA for 10 years

Hello everyone! For those who have taken the Hesi A2 is there a calculator avaliable for use on the math portion? I have been hearing a lot of different things so I would like to hear from someone who has actually taken the test.

Hi Dream2, there Is no calculator for the math portion. They provide scrap paper and ask you to bring you own paper/pen. I know other schools allow the calculator to be used but wcccd doesn't. Maybe that's where the confusion is coming from.

Thank you myworldismusic1! I have been studying for the Hesi exam for about 3 weeks now! How long did you spend studying for the exam? I'm really trying to study hard and get the best score possible since we only have two attempts to take the exam. What advice can you offer? I'm mostly concerned about the math section.

There is a math tutor at the north west campus ---------------------- in the basement of the welcome center who dose math tutoring. Make sure you brush up on everything he whole exam is random

Hello All! I am new to this site but had to sign up to say good luck to everyone and their nursing career goals! I will be turning in my application this Friday to try and get into the Nursing program for the Spring 2015 semester :nailbiting: I'm so nervous! LOL! The only thing left for me to do is to make some last minute changes to my essay. I would have been done with that but I found out the topic of the essay changed from when I last attended an information meeting so I had to start that part over. Other than that I'm all set to apply. How many others are planning on applying for the Spring 2015 semester?
