2015 WCCCD Nursing Program Hopefuls

Future RN's!

I created this forum, for us pre-Nursing students, finishing up our prereqs and preparing for the HESI and admittance into the Nursing program for 2015! Let's keep each other motivated and driven. We can do it! Hope to hear from my fellow school mates :-)

    I too, am a hopeful for 2015, and I am super excited. I took Anatomy I and II years ago, so I am finishing Patho. I am wondering if I should retake one course, however as I have a 3.5 currently and it seems like you need 3.7 GPA or better to be admitted. Do you by chance know the number of points given based on GPA ?

    Hello everyone am completing my last classes for entrance in 2015. The points I believe are as follow.

    Gpa: 4.0-3.8= 60 and go down 10 points from there)

    Hesi: 20

    All classes taken at wcccd: 10

    Co reques complete: 5

    Exerprience/certification: 5

    please don't hold it against me if im not completely accurate .I would like if anyone could give me some insight on the hesiA2 exam

    I applied for fall semester and am waiting for my letter, but I recently took the hesi and did well on it. My best advice is to study fractions and and decimals for the math. A&P there are a lot of random different questions on there so I'd go over as much as you can
