I thought it might be nice to have a place for us to vent our frustrations with waiting until May 30th or so when letters start going out. I know I'm going nuts already!
How about introductions and a little info about each person?
I'm applying to both Bloomington and Indy-Lawrence for the Fall 2009 ASN programs. I turned in my apps this week with 4 As on the pre-reqs and a 90.0 on the TEAS. My eventual goal is at least getting a BSN, and if I feel like doing homework long enough, an MSN of some sort. I work full time now, but will hopefully only work part time if I get accepted. I'm so antsy to start preparing and finally feel like all of this is real!
I'm wondering about immunization records as well. I was born in Minnesota, then a few years later moved to California, and then in 7th grade moved to Indiana. I've no doubt got records all over the place! Do I count as an older student? I'll be 29 in July.
Nope, sorry, I don't think it counts until you start celebrating the anniversaries of your 29th birthday...nice try though!
Sunshine,Ask your lawyer about asking the loan co for a deed in leu of foreclosure. I had to submit a hardship letter, pay statements and tax papers from the prior year. Be ready for them to change the locks before they grant the DILOF - they did that to me!! I know it's to make sure the borrower won't strip the house, but it caught me by surprise! (the house was empty!)
thanks for the info! The house has been empty since Dec 1...crazy the bank let a buyer walk over 3-G's and there was nothing I could do. well the bank thought I could throw the cash in, but I have lost my shirt, pants and socks over this house! Just feeling :angryfire !! I see what this attorney thinks I should do.
thanks again
I just thought I would throw my age out there!! Hit 41 in Nov. and I am just celebrating life! I don't want to be 29 again. then I would have to wait to figure this whole thing out again! I am ready for this career change!
I think when I hit the big 5-O then I might change my tune (can't find a smilies whistling)

50 is the new "30"
Ahcgirl,
I took Microbiology last semester and really loved it. It really wasn't very hard to get an A. On the lab reports, they just needed to be completed and you got all the points. There were quizzes that were done on blackboard each week, so you could use your book and notes. The tests were also pretty easy if you studied and I really didn't have to study too much in that class. I really enjoyed it and I did not think I would. I can help you if you need help. Do you have anything lined up for CPR classes yet? I really hope we get letters today. I don't want to wait anymore!!
