I thought it might be nice to have a place for us to vent our frustrations with waiting until May 30th or so when letters start going out. I know I'm going nuts already!
How about introductions and a little info about each person?
I'm applying to both Bloomington and Indy-Lawrence for the Fall 2009 ASN programs. I turned in my apps this week with 4 As on the pre-reqs and a 90.0 on the TEAS. My eventual goal is at least getting a BSN, and if I feel like doing homework long enough, an MSN of some sort. I work full time now, but will hopefully only work part time if I get accepted. I'm so antsy to start preparing and finally feel like all of this is real!
Yup, 217 gets the prize! Congrats!:balloons::flowersfo
Hey MommaSue - how's your vacation going? Miss you!:icon_hug:
Hi MommaCon!
Awww... thanks for missing me! I'm only a keyboard away, though! LOL! CO is gorgeous, weather is PERFECT! Have already read a couple of books, & bought 5 more yesterday! "Escaping" into novels is a great distraction! Are you having a relaxing brain break? What is everyone else doing for the rest of the month while we wait?:anbd:
So glad you are having a great vacation MommaSue! Marathon reading is my idea of a perfect vacation! To keep busy, I have a wedding dress and two bridesmaid dresses to alter before June 20. I also am winding up the school year in the elementary clinic where I work. May 30th is a Saturday - maybe they'll mail the letters on Friday the 29th ...... 15 days!
When do letters go out? I don't even know. I tried to block it out when they said it so I woudn't stress but now I want to know.
They should go out on or before May 30th. My friend is in the ASN program she got her letter a few days before May 30th last year. I am hoping that will be the case this year.

Really? What campus?! I would loooove to get mine a bit early :) I went through an old thread for the students who were accepted to ASN last year (mostly paid attention to Lawrence campus) and many of them posted on 5/30 that they got them that day. So that means--in two weeks we could know!

thanks newRN09 for the info...just trying to cover all my bases! I think ASN program is the only way for me- even if I have to apply again in Spring 10.
