Has anyone received their ATT letter yet who graduated this fall?

NY'er over here.

I sent in my license app on the Dec 16th and paid the NCLEX fee on the same day. I got my ATT on January 4th after calling to ask where it was.

Oh, yea then maybe your state is different. As far as NCLEX I paid online. Ohio would seem to me that it shouldnt be as long as wait... I think FL,CA,NY, and TX may have some of the longest waits, in my opinion. hope all goes smooth for you ...

Make sure you check spam box..One of our girls didn't get to test with us because she was waiting..found it in spam box... its entitled NCLEXATT

Falon- thanx for the input. That sounds promising but I paid for my NCLEX online around Dec 7th, a few days after meeting my director for the application paperwork.----Did you send the paperwork ion yourself or did you nursing director?---- And I havent heard a single thing from Pearson Vue so I called them on Friday of last week and she told me Jan 6th which I thought was weird since that was a Sunday....well STILL not a DARN thing and she had also asked if I received my eligibility letter, I said no and she told me to call boards... so I did that on MOnday and boards hasnt even put me in the system yet because they havent even gotten to our batch of paperwork!!!!! UGH! Im just irritated that this takes so long because Im a single mom and need a job! I put myself through 16mths school , ended up quitting my last job to just end up in a waiting game! So your input helps me have more hope.....

I sent in the application on my own. The director said that she sent the school's verification a few days later.

Who looks over our eligibility to sit for the NCLEX PN? Is it the Board of Nursing? And if so, do I call the Board of Nursing for status? Because I've been waiting way too long for my eligibility letter...

i graduated december 15th and then i heard from a friend of mine last week that almost everyone in our class had already received their att & scheduled a date & i had nothing.

i went online to pearson vue & did an online chat asking where my att was. it turned out that somehow my email address had been entered incorrectly & she emailed it to me immediately. so i'm nervous as all get out & trying to study, i take it on the 7th of feb.

our school just likes to take it slow, and took forever mailing things off.. anyways, my question was to anyone that has yahoo email, did it come to your main email or in your bulk/junk box? and also what is the name/subject line i should be looking for? i get so many emails most of them junk that i just delete i am so scared i am going to overlook it, but when i get around 200 reg emails daily and then 500 or so junk ones, it gets really boring reading all the headlines!! thanks!!

my classmate almost deleted hers because it came in her junk mail box, she only looked because someone else had told her other people from our class were receiving them.

okay!!! i think i figured it out...tell me if i'm wrong but this is the process...

1. fill out application for license along with 2x2 photo id and $75 application fee

2. depending on how soon your school sends the information to the bon determines how soon you will receive your letter of eligibility to take the nclex

3. once you've received your letter of eligibility...register and pay for the nclex via peason vue

4. once you've registered and paid for the nclex, you will receive your att letter

5. once you receive your att letter, you go back to the pearson vue website to schedule a test date

6. then bam! you're all set!

am i right? it seems like you need to register with pearson vue and pay for the nclex to have your att letter sent to you. but it seems like you cannot pay and register until you know you are "eligible." but.......i already know that i am eligible because well...duh, i graduated and have completed the program...so...my question now is....should i wait for that eligibility letter before i register and pay for the nclex??? because what if, for some reason, the bon says i am not eligible? i still have paid for an nclex and can still use it once i become eligible, right???? help me out guys....thanks a bunch!

goodness, i am so thankful our school actually had us all get together and walked through all the steps & paperwork together, then they mailed it all. once i graduated i only had to wait until school sent out proof of completion and poof i get my temp license & my att (after they got my email corrected).

Alpha-BON is who to call to ask about your eligibility. I called MOnday and they were on Nov 27th paperwork so just take monday (Jan 7th) as Nov 27th and start counting until you come to the date where you think the paperwork was submitted... example; I think my DON mailed our bulk papers to the board the latest Dec 10th so if I count Dec 10th lands on Jan 25th. I give + 2days so I should hear word by Jan 29th the latest. Do you know when your paperwork was mailed? In the meantime just study ... I figure if I have until end of Jan. I study all the way until then so when all my stuff arrives Im already to go and just go to PV and pick the day and time ... Im just kinda nervous a bit though cause I start my 2 science pre req classes on Monday and will have that to study as well but at least it gives me a break from just thinking about boards and NCLEX all the time!!! good luck... Oh and I talked to Pearson Vue and Boards contacts PV electronically so then they know of our eligibility status and then we get our ATT.... hope that makes sense... good luck!

OH my goodness HeartJulz!

You are almost in the same boat as I am...I wanted to take my NCLEX asap because I'm taking Microbiology for Spring Semester which begins January 29th...But all my paperwork seems to be lagging! Plus, I have no idea when our director sent our paperwork to the BON so I can't even estimate to when I'll receive an eligibility letter...it's really starting to **** me off...In the meantime, I have been studying...the past 3 days I haven't been really studying because I just started my IV Therapy/Blood Withdrawal class and by the time I get home all I want to do is relax and sleep...So you haven't recieved your eligibility letter either?

Wow thats kinda awesome... great minds think alike! Im taking Chem. and Micro. starting on MOnday until end of may. I want to get thse measley last 3 classes out of the way so I get onto the RN program... fall all I have left is my Physio. so yea I kinda wanted this part over before I start studying new material, but of course life doesnt happen to lay bricks as we always hope.. does it?! The only reason why I know when my DON sent our paperwork is because I had called her before hand way earlier before she set up our meetings ... and then at our meeting to submit our applications/money/photos I asked her if everything went smoothly and if she was sending everything earlier than she had originally planned and she said yes.. so just going by when they cashed my check and my meeting day w her was Dec 4th thats why Im giving leadway so I may actually hear sooner... Hows your BW/IV class? I took my IV class the day after my last day of NS. I dont know what to do about the BW because Im a licensed Phleb. and not sure who to talk to about getting that put on my license or if I need to redo a course? Doesnt seem like Id need to... but maybe Im just going to keep my license current on my Phleb. but I liked my IV course.. thats been done since Nov 16th! Im so behind on bills.. I hope this hurries up! Are you in CA by the way?

Yeah I'm in Cali...San Jose that is...I haven't spoke to my director about anything and she probably explained to us a bunch of times what the process will be like and I probably wasn't listening...I was too focused on just graduating!!! I heard that she is on vacation until next week so I'll have to wait...urghhh ...anyway, Micro is my last class that I have to take so I'm planning on applying to RN schools by fall this year...I have to get a really good grade in Micro because if I don't, I won't make the cut off GPA score...yes my anatomy and physiology grades are poor...unfortunately...

My IV/BW class is alright...I get really scared of the needle piercing into the skin...it really freaks me out...Tomorrow we get checked off with BW's...Friday we take a test and then I guess we're certified...We have a student in our class who is also a licensed phlebotomist...he's getting certified for IV and BW even though he has his phlebotomy license...

Wow...your school seems really organized! Where did you go???

I am also behind on my bills!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm working part time at a cageless doggy daycare and as much as I love working with the dogs...I can't wait to start my nursing career!!!

I hope I get notice soon..I really want to plan on taking the NCLEX no later than February because my Micro class doesn't end until end of May too. Have you started studying yet?
