Waiting on ATT letter...

Has anyone received their ATT letter yet who graduated this fall?

uggghhh....I have to do some major venting. I'm so upset that it is taking so long to get the ATT letter!!! I graduated on Dec. 18. My school did not submit paperwork to the state until Jan 13. I got a letter from the state on Jan 31 that everything is clear with them. I've heard nothing from Pearson Vue yet, so I called them today. They told me I have no ATT yet, and they politely told me "Ma'am...it hasn't even been a month yet [since the state notified me.]. Call us back in 3 weeks if you have not heard from us." geez oh peets. what is the hold up??????

Okay, I'm confused. Once your state notifies Pearson that you are permitted to sit for the NCLEX, Pearson notifies you within an hour or so, IF you supplied them with an email address. The ATT will come directly to your email and from that point you can schedule your test. If you did not include an email address to Pearson, it will be sent via first class mail.

Soooo frustrated. My paperwork was received on Jan 4 by my state....but the fingerprints have not come back! NO ATT!

Are there any other December 2007 grads that are still waiting for their ATT? I am still waiting for mine from PearsonVue, even though the state BON gave me the green light 18 days ago. I called PearsonVue this past Friday, and they said they were still waiting for the state board to notify them. I called the state board and they said they were waiting for "the roster" of student names from PearsonVue showing that I registered. Meanwhile, I have hard copy evidence and internet web site evidence that I have registered and have state board approval. Why would they make me wait so long? Half of my classmates have tested and have their RN licenses now.

I have no background history that would cause a hold up and my email address has been confirmed. I am beyond being angry and am now so, so upset. This does not seem fair :o

That seems weird ? also know that on bulletin it states that they should send something by 2 wks. The wait process is ridiculous , Im so impatient .. but luckily have a lot to catch up and keep me busy and esp. now that weather is nice I have a ton of yardwork..Im still waiting for my NCLEX results .. but still have messages from this thread when I was waiting... good luck!

I have a story for those of you waiting for your ATT. You might find it amusing, or like me, you might find it absolutely terrifying and a general pain in the hindparts.

I did not receive my ATT in the time estimated by the nice lady at the BON, so I called her. She said she had not yet received my fingerprints from the electronic fingerprint company. She told me to wait an additional 3 weeks or so.

I waited these three weeks and called her back. She had still not received my prints. She advised me to wait a little longer. I waited for about another week...

Finally, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I called the company and asked them about my prints. They said they would 'research' the issue and call me back that day. I did not receive a call back. I called again, and they insinuated that the BON must have lost my prints, as they had been sent over a month ago.

After some coercing, demanding to speak to a supervisor...and ...well....screaming that I am not proud of... the fingerprint company finally admitted that they had sent my prints to the BOARD OF PHARMACY. Their employee at the printing site put the wrong routing number on my form, and my prints went out to the wrong place. :angryfire:

Better yet, they had to send the prints BACK THROUGH the highway patrol, because they were originally sent to the wrong licensing entity.

I got my ATT 6 weeks later than I should have, because some employee at the fingerprint site made a typo. When I explained to the supervisor at the company that he had better get my stuff to the BON this very second, he was very confused about why I was upset. I had to actually say the words 'lawsuit' and 'lost wages because my GN period is going to expire' to get him to move his butt.

The moral of the story is, do not assume that it just takes a long time for your ATT to arrive. If all of your friends have received them, call all of the people responsible for getting your information in order. I take NCLEX on Wednesday, March 12 (6 days before I would have had to stop working because my GN period will expire on the 18th)!

Wish me luck!
