Waiting on acceptance/rejection letters

Nursing Students Pre-Nursing

Published

I am a nervous wreck waiting on whether or not I am accepted to my school's nursing program for this fall 2013, and thought that starting this thread may be able to keep myself and others company......:nailbiting:....Please feel free to write anything while we wait.

All I can say is the closer time is getting to the first week of April, the more of a mess I am. I am mentally going insane. This is torture:nailbiting::eek::wacky:

I feel your pain. I kept telling people "I'll hear in March" and then all of a sudden March is here. Waiting anxiously. :nailbiting:

OK, had a complete scare today: got a call from the nursing program. I forgot to attach a copy of my BLS certification to my nursing school application. They called and said I could drop it off tomorrow morning. Thank goodness they're allowing me to do this instead of simply rejecting my application!!! Whew!!!

I cannot believe I did this!!! I've been obsessing over submitting that application for months. I don't know how I had a brain lapse with this. Makes me feel like a complete idiot...DOH!

Won't know if I'm accepted or not until the last week of April. Sure hope I get some good news :D

Thanks, Amber! I dropped everything off today. Whew! Crisis averted!!!!!!!!!!!! :D

I am also waiting on my letter our deadline at our BSN program in March 15. I sent mine in Feb 4. I will know end April beginning of May 2013. Good luck everyone for Fall 2013

The applications for the school I applied to was Mid-February and they don't have a time-period for acceptance letters. I got mine in, but then they extended the deadline to March (which extends the time period for acceptance/denial letters). :banghead: I am trying to patiently wait, but it is so hard. Congratulations to all who have gotten in, and good luck to those still waiting :)

Good luck, y'all! I've been told that letters and announcements are sent out in April. Super anxious about it as well! Congrats to all who have been accepted!!

Does anyone know how long it takes to get all the other credentials (for if you are admitted) done? Such as CPR certification, physical, immunizations, etc. I know for one of the schools I'm applying to, they want my physician's signature on the immunization form so I'll have to do that instead of just sending in a copy of my records.

I'm also waiting on my acceptance letter, I'm getting very anxious because this is the second time I have applied. The first time I was missing two classes that kept me from getting into the program

Got my call today !!!! I'm accepted!!

I got accepted to my school!

Congratulations to those who have been accepted! I am joining this thread a bit late but I am stressed over the waiting as well. I have applied to only two schools *bites finger nails*. I applied to one ADN program at the community college and one accelerated BSN program. I want to desperately get in and I hope I do. I have a bachelor's degree in psychology from last May with only a overall GPA of 3.022. My GPA before transferring to that school was a bit lower. I have "B"s in both A&P I and II and currently am holding an A in nutrition and microbiology. I think I did pretty well on my TEAS V with an "advance standing". It said I was 97 percentile rank for the nation and 98 percentile rank for my program. Anyone else here waiting for acceptance/rejection from Coppin State University or Community College of Baltimore County?
