now jan 05, my PD may 05 and my file is at the embassy completed pls pls keep moving

so the movement is that fast? last time I checked, eb3 posted at 2002... hmmm

not expected but pleasent surprise and a welcome one:w00t:

great news for some of you but it does not mean that it is going to proceed this rapidly in the future. remember that many that are under the eb-3 category were in the us for several years and have pd dates that are quite old to those of nurses.

for those of you here that have pd dates from 2005, it means that there were issues with your petitions or documents somewhere along the line or you would have been in the us already.

we were expecting to see some movement with the earlier petitions and that is what is being done. but for the large number that have just had petitions submitted in the past few months for the i-140, it is going to be sometime as there just are not enough visas to go around.

this still will not have the visa bills or the ds-230s sent out for those that are waiting either. they are going to try and get thru those that have pending petitions first that are completed, and that is how it should be done.

congratulations to those of you here that should be getting a visa in the next few months, long time waiting......................:heartbeat

:redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeatheand happy valentine's day!!!!!!!

This is no reason for premature rejoicing. As the VB says, the movement will slow down or stop once the thousands of AOS applications pour in to claim those visas. The Retrogression is far from over.

This is just good news Congratulations to those with old pd's! Now just hoping to VB to move my pd!!!

Congrats to the ones who will be hearing soon, that's a great jump in PD, hoping the best for all, once again congrats, and happy valentine's day to all:yeah:

Please read again the opening lines in the March Visa Bulletin, and read it very carefully. It states that they expect things to regress again as the I-485s that were submitted this past summer get added into the equation. Consider this just a free period and short-lived.

Please do not expect all to move forward again and at this speed.

Sorry for sounding like this, but have seen people here sell homes and everything else just to get put on hold again and do not want a repeat of that. Consider it a present if you get a visa, but nothing that is definite at this time. We saw similar things last May and then many hopes got dashed. You have to look at things from the outside and looking in, not from the otherside of it, or you will be hurt by it.

And to add to it, these dates that were listed is just what was in place on February 7th, and may not be in place already by now, but just what was happening that day when they were ready to go to press with this, and it states that right in the Bulletin. When they add that caveat, it means that they are expecting things to change very quickly and stay as you may wish that they do.

so the movement is that fast? last time I checked, eb3 posted at 2002... hmmm

That's how the Visa Bulletin works. It can really move back and forth.

This is no reason for premature rejoicing. As the VB says, the movement will slow down or stop once the thousands of AOS applications pour in to claim those visas. The Retrogression is far from over.

I agree. It will prob. move up to a certain point only but those close to the new cut-off dates and in the last stages of the whole process will have a very good chance. Good luck to them.

Hello. Good day.
