GIRL, I feel your pain! A&P is very hard--its sounds liek you are doing really well so far so dont let one grade knock you sideways, k? You have plenty of time to get more A's! Keep your chin up...

If you can take pictures, I suggest you take pics of everything!

You can study from the pictures when the model, ect is not in front of you.

I have been getting 90-100 on lecture and my last lab test. This test was really hard. She put 3 fetal pigs out and put tags on areas that we went over months ago. And I just was not sure on many of it.
At least my lab grade is only 30% of total A&P grade. I guess I have to study even harder. Not sure how.

Keep your chin up, it's just one test!

It's probably too late for this but if you think you might see that pig again - like maybe on a final - there is a virual pig dissection on the internet. I don't remember the website, but you should be able to find it with a search, or maybe someone else knows it. I found it extremely helpful a couple of years ago in an A&P class. It's a real pig and will be almost identical to what you see in class.

By the way - an 80 is still a good grade. Don't be too hard on yourself, there are harder classes still to come!

I got a 78 on my bone test, I felt really stupid after that cuz I have A's on all the other exams and quizzes in lab. I have the highest grade in lecture (A). its weird and I know how you feel. My Muscle test is tommrrow, hope I can bring my lab up to an A, cuz now I have a B after that bone test. :-(

a 80? I would have a party myself. My bone test was a 66 knew all the bones but the way it was given caused that grade. There was only 20 actual bones I had to name so there was no way to make up for the ones I got wrong with the other ones I knew.

an 80...I would take a B in A&P any day! I'm in A & P II this semester, and it is just as difficult as A&P I, bring a digital camera, it will help you in studying after hours....still a good grade for an advanced science class, could have been worse :wink2:
