Hi everyone!

wanted to start a thread for ppl applying to VCU DNAP program starting January 2020, where we can all share our stats and talk through the application process! Goodluck to all ?

I am curious about if they gave a deadline to accept by. I guess the people that were already accepted probably are not checking this group anymore. I'm assuming they must have been given a timeline that may guide us, who have not yet heard back, on when we can expect a call. That is if they wait for some people to deny the spot before calling others.

It does not seem like many people who are offered a spot would deny it to this program. I heard previously that it was a week that they have to decide by but not sure if that is accurate. I know when I interviewed she said that June 1st would be the date that everyone was notified by. It seems so far away to wait that long though.

I just wish we knew if all the first phone calls were made or how they’re notifying people. Is it by last name or campus or what?

I can't imagine anyone would deny a spot either! Also, it seems random the order in which they are calling people - multiple interview dates and campuses have been called already. Maybe alphabetical ,but can't tell based on screen names.

they said typically after they send an official letter out via email, you have a week to respond.

This is killing me! There’s unfortunately not many people in this group either. I wish there were more so we had a broader search party haha

I didn't get my email yet. I believe she said it may take time to send them out. That could mean the yes/no's may take time too.
