Hi everyone!

wanted to start a thread for ppl applying to VCU DNAP program starting January 2020, where we can all share our stats and talk through the application process! Goodluck to all ?

She called and left a message to call back but I didn't see the missed call until after office hours.

Dr. Damico had called me around 3:30pm, so it's very likely they have more calls to make depending on when they started the calls since I think they probably leave office at normal office hours around 5pm. Keep your hopes up! I think in the past year's thread, there were people that received notifications even a week later than the first batch of people notified.

You don’t think it’s a rejection call or a waitlist call do you? ? I’m just nervous

Has anyone received notification for the Abingdon campus yet? I interviewed 5/2. I am so nervous! I didn't think we would hear until June.

I interviewed for Abingdon as well, and I worked with two guys that were there with us the same day. I don’t believe they have gotten a call either, nor have I. I feel you on the nervousness. I feel like a wreck, and I have to work tonight, lol. I’m sure we will get the call soon!

I hope not. Here's how I see it - technically June 1st is the latest notification date. By notifying applicants early, and (per last year's thread) giving those notified a week to make their decision, they'll be able to see the initial number of accepted students within a week. At that point, they either filled their class size, or can offer those next on the list spots and this process can repeat one more time before we hit June 1st. Since it seems the first wave of notifications went out today (unless the other that said he/she was notified May 8th wasn't trolling), then I would think it's too early to hand out rejection / waitlist calls unless something really went wrong.

What number did you all get called from? Was it a Richmond number?

It was a 804 Richmond number. I initially missed Dr. Damico's call and she left a voicemail. I assumed she would tell me on the voicemail if it was good news, so I got nervous that it wasn't. I called back and she told me the good news. Hope this helps ?

Arsla27, did you interview for Nova too?
