It's insanely early to think about this, but here's a thread for anyone applying for the VCU DNAP cohort set to begin January 2021, the application window is open! Are you studying for your GRE yet? ?
While unusual in format, I'm very glad they are offering this flexibility to do interviews and am trying to just be as prepared as possible. Remember, a lot of times these programs want to get to know you a person and see if you are someone that will be a good fit personality-wise, demeanor and how you stack up to your written application materials/CV. I'm from Maryland.
Has there been any indication of when notifications may be made after interviews are complete on the 25th? ?

They said we would know by May 15th and if it were sooner they'd post on their facebook about it!
Really hoping I get to meet all of you in January!! ??

I am from MA ?
Coming from Florida.
My husband and I are actually building a house in Chesterfield, Virginia... So, I have all my eggs in the VCU basket right now. No pressure right. His job has him there now, my sister is there for support, and the schools for our 3 boys are perfect. To top things off VCU was my top choice. Fingers crossed. ? It was one of the only schools that make sense for all of our situations as a family.
As for the interview... Planning to go into work early before my charge shift tomorrow and record my responses in the board room with no distractions. I was going to do it here at home when they sent the link, but with the kids home from school and no where to go; I don't have a lot of options for places to conduct the interview.
Good luck to all of you in the coming days. Try not to stress the process too much.. Hopefully we will all get in and meet soon. ?
Stay safe out there!
Preparing to complete my interview tomorrow! I've been in the Richmond area for about 5 years now (originally from NoVA) and currently live about 15-20 minutes from VCU's hospital downtown. Richmond is a great place to live and I hope to be meeting you all come January! Good luck in the rest of the process! ?

Good luck!! You’ll do awesome!
My husband is from NoVA and grew up and went to college there - only moved here (to California) for graduate school!
Good luck everyone!
I'm in Nova and plan on moving down to Richmond with the Mrs. and the kiddos.
Not entirely sure where I'm going to do the interview, I like the idea of coming into work early and blocking off one of the rooms. People at work are going to be wondering why I'm in a suit and tie ?

When they said recorded responses I was really grateful for the flexibility, but then it dawned on me that the kids were home ALL day EVERY day. LOL And they don’t go back till next school year. They are too young to appreciate quiet background for an hour. I had even considered getting a hotel room.
The pandemic is definitely keeping me on my toes. ?
Good luck ?
