Yes, I received an invitation today to interview.

Part of me is wondering if they’re just going to “interview” everyone..

Got mine! So excited. Good luck to all!

I don't think they interview everyone. A current student told me about 1/3 of the total applicants

Current VCU student here. CONGRATS to everyone that has received an invitation to interview. I hate that the current circumstances have prevented in person interviews, but the VCU NRSA staff will go above and beyond to make this work for you guys. They have been amazing in our transition to online coursework during this pandemic. Best of luck!

Thanks for that reassurance!! Is it weird that I’m more nervous for an online interview than for in person?! Good luck everyone!!

Thank you for the encouragement! As a student, any tips on how to prepare for the interview since it won't be in person?

Any recommendations on interviewing online? Do you have any idea if it will be a panel? The changes with social distancing have definitely made this interesting this year ? Also, I know there was a short critical care test before, I guess that is out of the window?? ??‍♀️ Nevertheless, I am excited to interview. I toured the new sim labs in the new building and they are just AWESOME!

As far as the interview - I feel like the email made it seem like it was one way - as in there are predetermined questions and its basically were recorded and that’s it. If this is the format I am sure they will still ask some critical care related questions to make up for our inability to take the test.
