Hey, Im applying to the fall 2022 Pre-specialty MSN program and I just wanted to open up a topic since I hadn't seen one yet

@ChemGirl713 If your institution uses Parchment, they send an electronic transcript directly to Vanderbilt in 24hrs. Im sure that if they receive it by the 15th you should be fine! I would also email Vanderbilt nursing to make sure.. they've been responding fast lately!

Thanks for the hope LOL! I did email the VUSN admissions email. They haven’t responded to me yet but I hope they say the same. I had them send the transcripts to the CDM because that’s what it said on the website… should I not have?

I had to send Vanderbilt transcripts from 3 different schools, and depending on the school/transcript service, Vanderbilt received one transcript the very next day, one in 2 days, and one in 3 business days. I sent them all to the CDM, and I know VUSN got them because I can see that they were attached below the uploads of my unofficial transcripts on the application. Hope this helps!

@chemgirl713 Yes that correct! To CDM.. I hope everything works out! And prayers to u and your family. Couldn't imagine that stress added to the already stressful application process.. well wishes and best of luck!

How do you know if they received all of your transcripts?

I had some ❌ beside some of my schools, but I know they were received because when I submitted my application they were all accounted for. Perhaps it’s a system glitch or something.

Hello everyone! After submitting my application and checking the status update, there is an option to “upload any additional materials you wish to submit”. I was wondering what these materials include. Good luck y’all! (-:

Does anyone know WHY they don’t do interviews for Pre-specialty? And if we at least get an email at some point that our application is in review? Or is it just absolute silence until one day we get great or bad news LOL??

im assuming that all those essays we wrote for the application is equivalent to an interview. From what I know (which isn't much) its absolute silence until good or bad news
