Applied to the PMHNP specialty as well! Super nervous!

Any applicants that applied without their current BSN completed yet?

Everyone who applied for the prespecialty doesn't have a BSN at all. I think the direct entry applicants have theirs or are working on theirs though

When do you think we will begin to hear if we were accepted or not

Hi all! I have a quick question. When graduating from this program, will we obtain a BSN as well? Because I’ve done searches for PMHNP jobs and in the description, some jobs say, “must have an active RN licence” etc.

My understanding is we will not receive a BSN. But after the first year we will gain enough education/experience to take the NCLEX and get an RN license. The license can then help us get a job to fund the other years :)

That’s great to hear, thanks a lot!

Hello! I wanted to ask if y’all know when decisions will be sent out. It’s been a month since the priority deadline.  Thanks!! (-:

They said decisions will come out third week  of February

Thank you!

What are y'all doing until the decisions come out? Is everyone just taking the loss and putting deposits down on other programs even if Vanderbilt is your preferred program? That's a long wait and potentially a lot of money

Does anybody know the acceptance rate for the PCPNP program? Or how many students apply to each program?
