Hey, Im applying to the fall 2022 Pre-specialty MSN program and I just wanted to open up a topic since I hadn't seen one yet

I am also applying for 2022 MSN pre-specialty (PMHNP). I've been waiting for people to post on here, especially since there were lots of posts around this time for the 2021 thread. I'm wondering what the reason is.

Glad I found this forum! Does anyone know how many students they accept to the PMHNP as pre-specialty? Does the cohort include the direct entry students?

I am too! Good luck to you ? Did you attend the information session today? They said it was the most popular specialty ? Does anyone know how many applications they receive?

I attended one back in the Spring. I’m not sure but knowing it’s really popular makes me nervous haha

Thank you you too! I attended an information session back in the Spring. It makes me nervous  pmhnp is the most popular haha

Me too! So nervous! When I spoke with the director of the PMHNP program last Spring, I believe she said they receive ten times as many applications than they have spots to fill, but I think she was referring to both the direct entry and pre-specialty combined.

I just want to make sure I’m applying to the correct cycle and application. For the pre-specialty cohort, we are applying to the “graduate and professional application” correct? I opened up an application cycle earlier in the year to get a glimpse of the questions but the applications look different so I want to make sure I’m doing the correct one. ? can anyone confirm this? Thank you!

? I did the same thing where I opened two applications! Mine looks likes yours, so I think we are good.
