I am making a post for all programs I am applying for that I have not seen thus far. I have been going into rabbit holes of previous year's posts for schools I am applying for. Vanderbilt has been my top choice since I decided to go into direct entry nursing the end of my sophomore year of college, so it seems only fitting to make a post for it. I am applying for the PMNHP specialty and look forward to reading posts and getting to know everyone!

Another opportunity I have needs a yes or no by midnight on the 18th, and I’m worried that Vanderbilt won’t release their admissions in time. Vanderbilt is my first choice, but I don’t want to pass up this opportunity in the case that I’m not admitted.
Someone from the MSN 2020 thread was told by admissions that decisions are coming out February 14th at 5pm. Maybe wait until Monday to ask? It makes sense because their Spring open house is February 29th which would give admitted students two weeks to make travel plans if they want to visit.

Thank you! I’ll definitely wait until at least Monday afternoon to make a call.

When I was accepted, Vanderbilt released their admissions decisions when they said they would --i.e. on February 14th, which is what they are saying they will do this year. I don't know the answer to your question but I would at least wait until Monday, the 17th to call to ask for an over the phone admissions decision. Does the other school allow paying online? If so, you will be fine if your decision is to go with the other school.
