I noticed there was not a thread created for Vanderbilt pre-specialty nursing for 2021, so I created one. Is anyone already preparing for this upcoming application cycle?

I know... it is going to drive me crazy during this waiting period. There is no interview.

I know y’all are pre-specialty but these stats gave me some hope, seeing how many are bachelor (other) or BSN admits to the MSN programs. Or ADN if you fit in that group.
Hi everyone! Does anyone know how about how many pre-specialty students they accept in comparison to students with backgrounds in nursing? It’s making me nervous thinking there are only possibly a few spots ... I have no clue if that’s true but it’s my fear haha. Any insight would be super helpful ☺️

For AG-ACNP, they accepted 19 PreSpecialty students last year vs. direct entry students out of the 50-60 total students they accept for that specialty.

Good luck! My manager should be submitting his reference tonight. It has been making me nervous since I have long submitted my application (I know this is a pre specialty group but I applied for direct entry... you guys are more responsive hahaha). My other recommenders submitted too. I should have had a back up but he has been my manager for two+ years and seen my work ethic!
Cheers to Vandy! This is the only AGPC program I applied to.
