Hello everyone! My name is Dustin and I am looking to apply to Vanderbilt's critical care nurse residency track. Specifically CVICU. I thought it would be a good idea to start this forum as applicants can come together to discuss about the application/hiring process and to assist each other.

Applications open in a few short days (July 2nd)!

Awesome! Does anyone happen to know the starting pay for graduate nurses? I see that the cost of living is way higher in Nashville than it is where I am from.

It is significantly higher but I have been looking outside of downtown Nashville and it is cheaper!

I'm a new grad from the Fall 2018 group in the NICU, and I thought I would share the pay information, since you won't receive that unless you get an offer, and I searched high and low for that info. Starting pay is $23.05/hour. Night differential is $3.00/hour 7pm-11pm and $3.50/hour 11pm-7am. Weekend differential is $6. Good luck to you all!

Had my skype interview with CVICU yesterday! It went okay, it could have been better haha. Did anyone else interview yet?

Mrs. Fargo told me that follow ups will be conducted this Friday the 14th (tomorrow). I asked during the interview how many they are looking to hire. They said four, possibly 5.
