Hi everyone!

I haven’t seen a thread for Vanderbilt applicants for the Summer/Fall 2019 cohort, so I thought I would get us started!

What track are you applying to and why? Have you submitted your application and letter of intent?

I just got an offer in the Neuro ICU. Waiting on the offer email to make my decision. How long did it take those of you with an offer to get the email?

Hi! I was recommended for hire and put on the waitlist for the Adult Cardiac Stepdown Unit. Just wondering if anyone has been contacted from the waitlist? And does anyone have any information on the odds of actually getting hired off the waitlist? Thanks!

From what I have heard from several people, most people recommended for hire get offered something. They wait until all interviews are done and the last group of people have time to accept/reject. Typically they start reaching out a week after the last interviews were done. So I would expect to hear something next week at the earliest. One of my friends whose been there 2 years said she's heard from lots of people they don't end up where they interviewed for. So to answer your question, yes very high chance.

Hey everyone! Last week I got an offer for the Adult Oncology Track and accepted it. Super excited since like many of y'all this is my dream job. Does anyone know where they are looking at living yet? There are so many options I'm not sure where to start looking.

Received an offer from the waitlist yesterday for the Adult Acute Medicine Track! Just wanted to let you guys know that they've started calling for the waitlist!

Hey, random question for you! I just graduated from nursing school in May 2019 and am looking into the nurse residency program for the October start! when did the application period open/close for the October cohort? most residency programs that I'm applying for are open now for the October start, but it seems like Vanderbilt does theirs way in advance, but I can't find exact dates online!
