Vanderbilt Nurse Residency Program Summer/Fall 2019

Hi everyone!

I haven’t seen a thread for Vanderbilt applicants for the Summer/Fall 2019 cohort, so I thought I would get us started!

What track are you applying to and why? Have you submitted your application and letter of intent?

Received an email yesterday that I was waitlisted for the position I interviewed for and as people decline and opportunities come up that I would be offered a position because I was "recommended for hire". Most of my friends that work at Vandy now say that happens to most people and the counter offer could be for any unit.

Has anyone here interviewed for the Adult Cardiac Stepdown Unit? If so, how was the interview? I interview there tomorrow and I'm so nervous!

Yes I interviewed on the 19th. Was recommended for hire. They weren't taking many people so I could be offered that after the interviews end the 5th or potentially another unit.
