Hi! I'm starting a thread for Vanderbilt MSN Fall 2019. Anyone else applying/re-applying too? Please comment!

No this is just for the speciality year. The program is only two years. The first year is 70,000 dollars. The second year depending on your speciality is 64,000-68,000. The only way it would be three years is if you went part time during your speciality year.

So this is how I went about it. I called and spoke to a person in admissions (leaving name out) and told them that I received the updated email about when decisions will be sent out “hopefully”. I then said that I have to make a final decision about another school this Friday. She then said I would accept their offer. I told her thank you so much and have a great day.
I then called back and spoke to the person who knows me by name and file and told her how much I appreciate her kindness, encouragement, and support. I told her I was able to get the answer I needed to move on. She then said I just did not have the heart to tell you and besides I would lose my job. I told her I understand and not to feel bad that I was ok. The End.

Just now, LCSWtoPMHNP said:Thanks, but I didn’t apply to any other schools only Vany. I lied ?
I've been lurking here more than commenting, but I wish you the best and much success in your future. You really brought enthusiasm here, and I appreciate your engagement and positive attitude.

I’m so sorry! I’m agreeing with all the other commenters about your energy and support here and how much we’ve all appreciated following your journey. You seem like you will make an excellent psych NP one day. Vandy didn’t happen but there are many other routes and you will have much success in the future. Good luck with everything!
