  1. @tarrab Were you pre-specialty? If so what was your experience? What did your schedule and study routine look like?
  2. I wrote about what an ARNP actually does on a day to day basis. My impression was they are looking for straight forward answers to their questions in the interview and application. I'm speculating without having reading @ringelm application. I volunteered at a military medicine clinic and I wrote about what I witnessed nurse practitioners doing. Look at Vandy's website ( https://nursing.vanderbilt.edu/msn/whatisapn.php ). Their website tells you exactly what they train students to do.
  3. I'm in pre-specialty PMHNP
  4. What did your application portal say before and after?
  5. How do you know?
  6. I got the email as well this morning. In defense of the admissions team, in the interview they did say "By the end of February". More specifically, "Call us if you have not heard from us by the end of February".
  7. I was curious about the numbers as well.
  8. Next month maybe?
  9. Well nothing yet.
  10. The servers are crashing from users furiously checking their admission status.
  11. I applied in the 2nd week of November, I don't remember if that was before or after their priority deadline was extended. I'm snowed in at my house and can't do anything but check my application status. I can only take the dog out so many times.
  12. I've already come to terms with my rejection.
  13. This is why I've taken a hands off approach. Nothing I say or do will help at this point, it can only hurt (i.e. piss admissions people off). I'd love it if they hurried up and accepted or denied me already. Ugh.
  14. I interviewed for Pre-Specialty PMHNP. The interview was approximately 15 minutes. Vandy is my #1 program, the wait is already killing me.
