Have any Adult Gerontology Acute Care Pre-specialty program applicants been interviewed? When I asked admissions they said sometimes applicants are interviewed and sometimes they are not... kinda vague. Any insight would be appreciated!

I applied AGAC prespecialty and haven’t had any contact since I applied so no interview.. hopefully decisions will go out the end of this month!

Does anyone know if they are finished extending interview invitations for PMHNP? Or do we think it will continue throughout the week?

I received an email for PMHNP last Friday. My interview is next week. Has anyone completed an interview for PSYCH yet and if so how was it?

I'm new here. This is my first post, actually. For those asking about PMHNP interviews: I completed an interview for the RN-MSN PMHNP program yesterday. It wasn't bad. There were two faculty, and the questions were pretty standard. They said they were going to ask me the same 4 or 5 questions they ask everyone..(i.e. why this program?...why now?...etc.)... It didn't matter though, because I don't think I did very well. I hate interviews. I always fumble what I want to say. Good luck to everyone!

I applied to PMHNP also, RN-MSN track, and still have not heard from anyone.Looks like people get interviews on fridays , 2 week prior the actual interview. I doubt we will see interview invitations in February. Does it mean, this friday is the last one to see interview invitation in your email? Anyone can clear it for the rest of us?

Hi Ringelm,

I don't know the answer to that question, unfortunately. The only thing they told me was that acceptance letters would start going out in February. Sorry....

At least today is January 15 which means we are a month away from decisions being sent out. Fingers cross I make it that long...

Did they say when in February?

Syra007,

first 2 weeks of February any time. I was not given clear answer when asked if no interview invitation offered means no acceptance, so hard to say.But my personal belief is no interview equals zero chance. Please , share your thoughts guys.

I think they said "end of" February. Hope that is helpful.

Some specialties don't get an interview. What did you apply for?
